I've had to go in to renew my license plate tabs so far after they expired that I just picked up the next years tabs at the same time.

I'm probably on a list somewhere. I got my driver's license suspended once for not paying the ticket for expired tabs...but I did pay it, only on the last day that I could have. And since they don't process the money for several days after you pay, that meant technically I didn't pay the fine.

I faxed them a letter with my receipt and wrote some angry words with a lot of exclamation points.

Edit: I'm probably wanted in the state of Louisiana as well. I haven't paid a ticket there that I got a couple years ago. I kept calling to find out how much I had to pay and they would never tell me, since they didn't have the ticket from the officer...so I gave up trying.
