Most here know I love me some zombie movies
Went out this afternoon and saw Zombieland. It rocked .. then again any movie thats got "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Metallica as the song playing as the movie opens just has to be good !!!
Very funny , great special effects and gore and the cameo by Bill murray was pretty good. The first few minutes were worth the price of addmission !

Will be seeing it this coming weekend with my daughter ...she can't wait.
It has to be better then Love Happens...maybe I just wasn't in the mood for a love story.

Took the wife to see the movie last night for date night. Trialer looked really funny. Wasn't a let down. I liked the movie. Wife, who gets really squeamish about blood and gore actually liked it.

As soon as For Whom the Bell Tolls started and the shtf you should have seen my face , I was grinnin from ear to ear !!! Im prob said "oh s***" 15 times in the first few minutes , IMO it was the best part of the entire movieOriginally Posted by KimberleyRN

Hey DM , it wont dissapoint you. It fit in perfect with the start of the movie , they made good use of "everybody wants some" too .... actually the soundtrack was all over the place and there wasnt anything bad in it. I def gonna pick it up.Originally Posted by dungeonmistress

Oh, and if you are 'into' guitar solos, the new ones on Endgame will blow your mind. Chris Broderick has really upped the bar and has made Dave step it up and out of his more comfortable riffs.

Just saw Zombieland with my daughter the zombie movie nut and we both loved it. As for Megadeth, Mustaine has always surrounded himself with great musicians!

So going to see this on the 16th. I know I am 2 weeks late, but with real life getting in the way it is the first time me and the GF can actually get out together.
In other news a good friend of mine is putting on a video podcast about zombie survival. Well me and him were talking today over lunch and he started telling me about his thoughts about make shift weapons and what to do when it comes down to hand to hand combat. I just started laughing and we ended up in this huge debate over what to do. He has no idea that I am a HUGE Romero fan and real big into the zombie invasion and tatics. Well at the end I might be a member of the panel that he interviews.
Yea it is a huge fun geek thing. But you have to educate the masses of what is to come

Just saw the flick; funny as anything, and Woody Harrelson rules! I'm really not a zombie fan in general, but this movie was the exception to the rule (along with the original "Night of the Living Dead" and "Shaun of the Dead"). May well become a cult classic.
