I am looking for a ready to drink shake that is good to use for after weight training. I need the convinence so grape juice and whey powder is out. I want a RTD with sugar and whey, but even if that's not possible what would be the best available RTD for post workout?

Best RTD for post workout?
If you always talk about how you could be in great shape if you just worked out and ate right, why don't you just work out and eat right?

Actually chocolate milk is a very good convenient choice for after workouts. Actually if I'm not mistaken there are quite a few college strength coaches most notably U of M's that advocate the milk approach.
On a side note...I think Mass Recovery is a good choice for an RTD... 60g carbs 30g whey isolate.Pain is temporary, It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit however, it lasts forever. That surrender, even the smallest act of giving up, stays with me. So when I feel like quitting, I ask myself, which would I rather live with? Facing up to that question, and finding a way to go on, is the real reward, better than any trophy. -Lance Armstrong

Yea, the actual protein is slow digesting, but supposedly the sugar helps the protein get shuttled in to muslces while refilling gylcogen stores and you get a sustained release effect. Ive never tried it myself, just going off of what Ive heard and been told.
