i think this fight goes down in history as the least damaging ref stoppage...TKO by "gut smother and head massage"
Having said that, Roy executed his game plan perfectly and Dean made the only call he could.
Good job Roy...
I like Kimbo, I hope he can improve his ground skills and take down defense and maybe someday put up some exciting fights against mid-level competition on undercards.
BTW, I noticed some chit chat about Nelson/Monson...I didn't know they fought, what was the outcome?

all the hate on roy for his Lay and Pray tactics is pretty hypocritical b/c i gaurantee you alot of you are brock lesnar nut huggers and what does he do? lay all over you and smother his opposistion with pure size. the first time he even did any legit damage to a real pro fighter was his last fight against mir. lay off roy and give him a chance he's really not usually this boring to be honest. and kimbo did impress me when he used the cage to kickoff of its werid cuz that was a veteran move but then gets beat making a rookie mistake with that last kick he threw while backing up.

Stop using the "fatass" remark as an excuse. Its the SAME weightclass, thats not a valid excuse at all. And on top of that, how much muscle does kimbo have? I think the muscle would cancel out the gut.
And im just hoping Kimbo gets smashed the next time he fights so i dont have to put up with all this sh*t anymore.

I think it's a good idea to keep the losers around. Otherwise you get stupid scenarios like where Leben and Florian were training one-on-one every day for like a week and a half, and then had to fight each other.

If you refer to a fighter who you've never met in real life as "my boy" as though their performance somehow reflects well on you for simply being a fan, you're a lame ass.

Poor performance?
What most people simply cannot grasp (not saying you are one of them) is that is extremely difficult to fight at about 65% and beat an opponent that is giving 100%. In that fight Roy was giving as little effort as possible to win AND still made Kimbo look like a complete tool.
Roy could have stood and traded with Kimbo and won, but why risk a cut, or a lucky punch? Roy executed his game plan, dominated, and still gets crapped on.
Kimbo has been training for over 2 years on his "mma", another 2-3 years will result in the same domination based on any type of extrapolation from his last few years training.Rep military on sight
