Xx Andrew's Creative Bulk Diet (Pictures and Data Included) xX

Just my last cutting thread, I will try to learn more about my body, hopefully gain some mass, and get big for the next 6 months before I have to cut for my first (small) intrafraternal bodybuilding competition.

You can follow my diet right in this thread, and my workout log, that is sponsored by NO-Beta, the link is located in my thread.

My cutting/ experimental diet thread is right here:
    http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=117454801

As of now, I am reverse cutting, to allow my metabolism to speed up, get used to carbs once again, and slowly increase my calorie intake.

Finally! :P No, seriously I'm really interested in what kind of bulk meals you'll be having... So I can steal some of them.

Oh and by the way, will you be posting your cutting results? I'm especially interested in the magic keto diet results. How much body weight and body fat have you lost? Thanks and have fun!

Well I posted pre and post carb up pics, and I kindoff forgot to weigh myself, too crazy of a time with all the moving and stuff going on, but I think that by the end of this week by being at 2400 cals, I will be at the weight I was on the very last day of my keto diet. Btw, I think the only advantage of keto is not having hunger pains.

Oh, okay that's alright! Yeah hunger "can" be an issue while cutting. :P Luckily I rarely get hungry on my 3.5k calorie diet right now.

Well in any case, count me in.

I agree with the others. Even I, who follows a fairly lowfat diet, usually eat at least 70g fat each day.

Since when is posting about the food you eat to get feedback and responses not appropriate for the Nutrition section?

Workout Journals would not make sense given that he isn't logging his workouts in this thread.

Maybe it's just the dietary switch from keto that your body has been thrown out of homeostatic balance? Our bodies don't like change, they rather be lazy, so I think the complete go from keto, to daily carbs now, has your body more shocked. I'll take your side to note that there were many days I went without much fat in my diet and felt just fine so it may not be the fat part. Switching to a regular diet is likely what's doing it to you, hopefully over a period of time, it'll ease and go away.

I do agree that your fats are kind of low bud. What times do you feel you are most hungry and are you sure you aren't mixing it up with appetite because I do that a lot, ahha.

Smear some almond butter on that breakfast pancake!
Go ahead, make fun of me being a light weight! I like me, that's all that matters.

    - Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage, and confidence. -Og Mandino

Well I am still trying to get my diet in line, it's weird, if I count calories based of whats written on the packages and etc, it comes out to the number above, but if I calculated them from the macros (doing the whole p*4 + c*4+ f*9 ) I get a higher number, plus I had a lot of veggies during the day... I'm just trying to transition.

I think you might be right, and the fat thing, I will try to get it up, but at the moment I am in college, and until I have a better kitchen, and have access to better sources of fat, not just peanut butter, it will be a bit hard to get my fats up.

And it's real hunger, like I will totally forget about food, while I'm painting or doing whatever job I am assigned, and then bam, just this hunger takes over... I would say I am most hungry in early afternoon mid day. O well hopefully it gets better, and I'm sure it will, in a few days my cals will get bumped up.

On another note, I really am looking for a good new workout routine, so if anyone got recommendations please let me know.

Pick up some almonds, cashews, and peanuts for extra fat. Adding some cheese or olive oil into things isn't a bad idea either.

How high do you eventually plan to get the kcal up to?

Depending on me gaining about .5 - 1lb a week. So over 6 months I gain around 16lbs does that sound reasonable?
