Curls, Girls, and Leg Presses - Wait... Wtf?
Name: Andrew
Age: 21 (Will be 22 on September 24)
Current Weight: 67.7kg
Current Bodyfat: Too ****ing lean to care
Goals: Gain weight and get healthy
Background: Lifted weights throughout highschool, got big. Than stopped. Now I suck.
Highschool Lee Priest Post Bulk ROOOOOOOOOAR:
Mens Health Wannabe Metro Dudetta With A Small Pen0r:
Now... After the small pen0r photos I started doing security night shift work (12 hour shifts) and my diet went to absolute ****. I stopped eating/training properly and seriously ****ed myself up over the course of a 1-1.5 years.
I wasted away into a piss weak girly man who belonged on a catwalk (OMG BIG GUNS):
Well, after looking like the above picture for around 8 months and feeling like ****, I started training again, but felt like **** all the time despite gaining some weight.
Finally got blood tested and got the shock of anus. You can find out all the bull**** here: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=116573371
Cliff Notes:
* Have Secondary Hypothyroidism (Sweet now I can become a fatass and blame my genes Y0!)
* Have Secondary Hypogonadism (Now I can go see chick flicks and wear pink shirts and be all cool bout it)
* Have a growth on my skull (If only it were my brain)
I am currently on 100mcg T4 for my Hypothyroidism.
I am yet to receive TRT for my Hypogonadism as after talking with some mates and my doctor, we feel it would be best to try and gain some weight (as I used to be alot bigger), and see if **** bounces back to.
Now, the growth on my skull... Neurosurgeon is unsure what it is. First they thought it was a fatty deposit, but my Neurosurgeon is not sure... I have follow up scans on September 17th and see the Neuro on the 24th. This will determine whether or not it has grown/changed... IT BETTER ****ING NOT!
Now onto Training Diet:
I bought a Bodybugg to make sure I am eating enough as my common sense is non-existant. I will be aiming for a surplus everyday.
I am also taking a Multi-Vitamin, Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamin B Complex, Calcium and Creatine.
Training is nothing too serious. I am 99% sure my program is not optimal for my current condition. However, to me, enjoying what I am doing is far more important than doing whats best for me. (Wait, did that making ****ing sense?)
Lower:
Deadlifts 4x5-6 (I can't squat cause my left hip is ****ed)
Leg Press 4x8-10
Hamstring Curls 3x12-15
Leg Extensions 3x12-15
Standing Calf Raises 3x6-8
Seated Calf Raises 3x10-12
Cable Crunches: 3x12-15
Upper:
Bench Press 4x6-8
T-Bar Rows 4x6-8
Dumbell Shoulder Press 3x10-12
Hammer Grip Pulldowns 3x10-12
Dumbell Shrugs 3x10-12
Skull Crushers 3x10-12
Hammer Curls 3x10-12
Looks like:
Monday: Lower
Tuesday: Upper
Thursday: Lower
Friday: Upper
I am not doing any "cardio" as I don't have the energy for it and it won't really help me achieve my short term goals.
However, I am trying to go for a 30-60 minute slow ass walk outside as my current conditioning is pretty ****, and this makes me feel like I am doing something healthy for my body. (If the thing in my head is "bad", I feel the walking might improve my chances or some ****... Meh, makes me feel a little better bout it anyway)
So once again, this is just a "fun" journal. Nothing too serious. Have fun, post here, muck around. I don't give a shiiiiiiiiiiiit!

Hmm.
Well, I hardly lurk outside the Scivation section, but I might need to get in on this.
KARMA; reps for life:
matthor-derickonfire-ozfiz-xquick-meyer23-AllGenetix, Beast, Scivation, Lando33
girl81-2 D-spot skater-djaeger3-in10city-Emma-Leigh-bballbrett5, jaim91, imfusio
Not on the list? Don't worry! There's still plenty of chances to achieve good karma.

Thanks for dropping by ma main man!
Yeah, I hope its nothing serious as I am kinda in a bad situation if it is (Caner + Bone = No Good). I just pretend I don't know about it lol. Living in denial can help alot
Anyways, yesterdays was a rest day. I went for a walk down at Balmoral beach (see picture)
Yesterdays Diet:
Bodybugg Calories Burned: 2705 Cals
I Consumed: 2756 Cals
Today is yet another rest day. I don't think I will do much in terms of physical activity as I am pretty tired today.

Well it seems to be!
Have only really been using it for a couple of weeks mate, so I can't really give you a deffinate answer
We shall all see how accurate it is with this journal!
However, remember I used to be a lean 80kg and am currently way under that... I also have ****ed up hormones atm. So I am not really the ideal guinea pig

ROFL!
The funniest **** just happened.
So I am on msn talking to cool-guy mark... A guy I used to work with logs in. He was a nice guy, but we all thought he was gay. He just "seemed" gay.
By the way, I have nothing against people who are gay . But this guy denied being gay, so we thought mayb he was just EXTREMELY metro.
I WAS RIGHT ROFL! I JUST CAUGHT HIM OUT! Mark and I are laughing our asses off! LOL

Not really? lol
Training:
None.
It was fark'n hot in Sydney today!
I spent the whole day sitting on my ass watching movies with mummy next to the fan.
Movie of the day:
I love oldschool horror flicks!
Also, its amazing to see the difference in how many calories I burn when I spend the day at home, compared to when I am out and about according to the bodybugg.
Will probably only be around 2400 cals today.
Also cooked up a ****load of chicken as I have been lazy and living off canned meat for way too long!
Lower body get hit tomorrow! Prepare for girly workouts, and even girlier strength!Last edited by AndrewWard123; 09-13-2009 at 07:56 AM.

Thanks for dropping in Sean.
I am not that ripped atm thank god... Being that ripped I felt like ****. No energy at all.
I maintained that condition for about 3 weeks during summer if I remember. Wasn't doing any cardio, but was eating sweet fark all.
On a more positive note, my left hip feels pretty good today. I spent about 20 mins last night doing various Quad, Hamstring, Glute, Hip Flexor Stretches.
I have no idea what has been wrong with my hip for the past couple of months... It got messed up one day doing squats, and now every time I go into a "squatting" action, my left hip flexor screams in pain when I go anywhere near parallel. Hopefully more stretching should help fix this up, as I have neglected stretching in the past.

Workout Summary:
It was a good workout. I felt pretty tired at the start so wasn't really feeling the deads until 3rd set...
I do have to admit, doing the same upper/lower workout, twice in a week is going to burn me out pretty fast... Soon I will either change the exercise selection for the thurs/fri workouts, or I will do some kind of heavy/light cycling. Any ideas?
I also feel I am falling into a trap of trying to progress to quickly. Mainly on the leg curls/extensions... Granted I am moving the weight up and down, technique started going to **** and I wasnt really feeling it. So I might do a small deload and on these restart whilst focusing more on "feeling" it. As these are isolations after all...
All and all, for a small, weak and pathetic girly man, I had fun
Until next time bb.com

i would definitely suggest having some different exercises for the two workouts, with lower u could have one day more focused around deads/hammies, and the other day focused around squats(leg press)/quads. either way, try to vary a bit so you don't get burnt out.
probably dont need to deload the extensions/curls, just slightly cut back on the weight to the point ur executing the motion with better form, and dont look to increase so quickly.
