    Creatine in my Postworkout shake? *Reps*

    I usually put milk and whey in a postworkout shake. You guys think I should add creatine to it? or take it seperate with grape juice or something. reps for good answers

    i read somewhere that if u do it it makes no difference but ever1 will tell u other wise , i personally have my creatine straight after workout then wait 40 mins then have my protein shake

    I'm debating the same question. I usually just put it in a glass of water before (take creatine on an empty stomach.)

    I think u should take ur pwo shake first then u should take creatin wit ur grapejuice cus u could spike ur insulin and get everything to ur muscles better

    That is perfectly fine. It doesn't exactly matter when you take creatine, as long as you are taking 3-5 g a day for maintenance, your body will stay loaded.

    PWO shakes spike insulin too. To op just put it in with your post workout and it should be fine.

    I was told, by The1satanFears, that if you have 2.5 grams before and 2.5 post workout, or split in the day it helps with absorption, therefore is more effective, seems to work for me now, i have it half in a shake before half after in another shake!

    It really makes not difference, however I used to do that and for some reason I got HORRIBLE heartburn when mixing the 2. It was probably just me though so try it out.
    ..bulking for the rest of my life..

    The alleged enhanced absorption and uptake would be marginal at best. (As in so insignificant it wouldn't even have a notable difference.)

    When supplementing with creatine the point is simply to achieve cellular saturation - the body's highest potential creatine concentration and inherent "peak effectiveness," if you were so inclined to call it that. Once that state has been achieved, all you're doing is maintaining it with a constant daily dose - no matter how much you take or how you take it will make creatine more effective.

    Heres what I would do

    DROP THE MILK - DROP IT POST WORKOUT


    The saturated fat will slow down the nutrient uptake.



    Here is what I do


    While finishing my secondary muscle group I drink a gatorade. 45 grams of sugar. + 10 grams BCAAs.

    15-20 minutes later 1/2 a serious mass shake by ON + 1 scoop of whey.



    I would take the creatine if I bothered with creatine with the gatorade + bcaas.
