Is it a good protein source? Obviously not gonna eat the fat but apart from that is it good? Bought a massive chunk of it ystrday and it's in the slow cooker for 8 hours at the moment.. tried searchin for a topic on it but no luck.

Corned Beef is good and is supposed to have alot of protein but its full off sodium and preserve .
does any one know if the beef is good when something like corned beef has a shelf life of about 4 years ?drinu
