    Hate to say this, but you are gifted with genetics. Enjoy it because others have a hard time getting results like the ones seen in your pics. In any case, you should be proud of your traps, it gives an illusion that you are bigger than you actually are.

    I've always had that same problem. I'm not sure exactly why, but my traps have always been much larger in relation to my other muscle groups. I always wondered why i could never get my shoulders to grow very well, and it was because i had overactive traps. i think it came from working out my shoulders the wrong way for so many years, and I am still presently trying to build my shoulders up the correct way without my traps becoming overactive again. It does help to make you look huge to other people though, but its not too good for building an overall equally huge physique. (shoulder especially) anyways...hope this helps some. Good luck.

    Is it to do with your posture? If your shoulders slouch forward then it could be that your shoulder blade is pressing against it and making it 'ball up'. I had the same thing, mine were 'balled up' too.

    I'm not trying to start a flame war, but I never said I was special, I didn't say "Hey, my traps are bigger than yours". I said everyone tells me how big they are and I wanted suggestions on how they've become so big.

    from heavy deadlifts, shrugs, etc i guess theyre starting to come in now but i really wish i could get them to grow quicker

    Might just be insane genetics. My grandfather, my dad and I have swole ass legs. I rarely do leg isolation, I squat for sure, but I naturally have giant calfs and thighs.

    Awakening a dead thread, look at my picture my traps grew on their own without hardly training them and people even call me traps now. in my picture that's with flexing them though. I just don't get why the rest of me doesn't grow anywhere near as well as they have despite hard training. It's really odd that one part of you could grow so efficiently despite not directly stimulating it where as the rest of you despite hard direct stimulation grows nowhere near as much in comparison
