I wish there were easier words to put this in...I guess lately I've been thinking a lot about death. NOT in a suicidal way or anything, but just thinking...how everything is so real, and we never realize it until something happens. You hear about things on the news, how a little girl becomes entangled in a rope from a treadmill key and gets strangled to death...or someone was working on a roof and falls. It happens to anyone, and almost always when you least expect it. Tim was a normal guy with friends, a family, and dreams, just like every one of us. I can't say that I personally knew him, but I feel the pain of losing someone I love, which is why I can't restrain myself from letting all of this out.
You never think anything is going to happen. I've been brutally awakened by the horrifying reality that life is a real thing. This isn't some virtual reality game where we can live, but not be touched. Life is alive. Life is a wheel, that begins spinning at a rapid pace, but at sometime it has to slow down and stop...and then sometimes something gets in the way, and it stops early. But there just isn't any way of knowing beforehand.
Never take life for granted, guys. I wish I could talk to everyone I've come in contact with and tell them the same. I want to call all my friends up, and spend hours of quality time with each one of them - I know that's impossible for me at the moment, but I want everyone I know to understand how much I respect them, at every possible time. I don't ever want to see anyone leave again without them knowing that I think the best of them.
I guess I'm a little scared, because I don't know what's out there, and I don't know what we face when one of us leaves this world...is it nothingness? Is it just another beginning? I don't know. All I know is that when they leave this world, whether they're in another one or not, they don't exist in the one I live in...which makes me numb...
Make the most of your life while you still have time...because even if it's not over yet, it's short. And when my time is up, I hope to whatever god is out there that I feel loved.
That is all.

This.
I don't like the feeling of being scared. It's like in one of those dreams where...you know something's behind you, but you can't turn around. You have no idea what's coming.
That's the reality I'm facing right now. It's what gives me chills.
My heart goes out to his family especially... It's a loss that isn't quite forgettable.^_^

R.I.P indeed however,
and no disrespect intended...
It shouldn't take a death of someone you know to enlighten yourself on the extreme absolute of death...it's something you just have to realize, and deal with. Life is entirely without meaning or purpose, a chance random happening. We are lucky to even know what existence is, yes, but to also exist means to be completely without answers or guidance about what to do or why."I'm on this planet to become rich, and jacked." - Mike1991

Few things wrong with that plan.
If you live everyday like your last, you set yourself up for failure. Life is based upon a system of ups and downs, bonuses and shortfalls, heartbreaks and heart takes.
Think of it like a book.
Death is obviously the ending, yes? During the beginning of the book, do you want to read every sentence as if the next sentence the narrator will be dead? No. A good story, as in a good life, consists of character development, unexpected benefits/accomplishments, and a good plot. If the main character does not do anything to build up his story/or one's life, and simply focus on the ending, many of the small details that make life great, joyous, or fun, are missed.

And I quote James Dean, who also died young. "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today"
Especially as kids or youngsters it takes on a whole new meaning. We all believe there should be a time in our life where we **** around and so stupid things all day and its irrelevant. But what few realise is that there is a time when things do get serious, and alot of people in our society today seem too miss the serious train, and we stay children forever. Boys need to be men, and girls need to grow into women. We need to grow in order to survive. Sometimes its not all about the lulz, its about the bigger picture. No one knows fully what their bigger picture is, and truthfully none of us will until we come close to dying. However, when life is suddnely taken what are we left to plan and live for, thats where the lines blur and people tend to get lost. Especially in the threads where people ask What would you do if you were going to die tomorrow? "Oh id rape people and blow things up" I personally find it kind of scary that people who are 16+ would still post an answer like that. We need to grow up, we need to learn to accept responsibility, we need to learn that we are not the only people on this planet and most importantly we need to learn that being "alpha" is not all that matters. Its kind of sad that I have to add that last part.
Sometimes its okay to cry, sometimes its okay to feel weak, sometimes giving up is okay, because sometimes people arent strong enough to let go.
Just my two cents.
Life is all about the journey, some people dont get to go through all the tunnels and past the rocky hills though. What living each day like its your last means is that if you want to say kiss a girl dont say ill plan it out and then kiss her, no do it. What it means is that you should act and not regret it, because it only makes you more experienced. That being said, with age comes a degree of maturity, out of which we should act. (reffer to upper post) But yes, life is a journey, but through the journey we should not take time for granted and waste our time doing useless ****.
I find that to be loved, you have to love, to have friends you must be a friend. The golden rule, treat others as you would be treated. Its scary how younger kids and us sometimes just bypass news of death etc. on the news because its become routine.Last edited by wobblydaddy; 08-04-2009 at 06:55 PM.

Don't we all though?
Within our abilities we try and live life as well as we can.
Nobody really just stays at home, does absolutely nothing in a dark room with no entertainment and is happy, unless that is what they prefer. Making the most out of your life is changeable amoungst everyone's life. Some people's lives may only consist of going to work, coming home, and repeating. They are always living their life to the fullest. We cannot stray outside of our availabilities, our life is our life.
