This is more hamstring focused when you place the feet further out, if your feet are closer towards the machine its more quad. Its easier to sit back on a smith machine instead of with a free weight because you dont have it caving down your back. simply keep the bar a bit furhter back on your back and sit down.. Simple..

I can squat more free weight than smith for some reason lol.

so far I am enjoying the results from 1,3.. Stronger.. the mood is better, and the progress is coming along.

    PRODUCT NOTES

Again, one 1,3 Dymethylamylamine pill in the morning and three pre-workout, seems to be working very well. Like I said time flew today, I was in the zone and just kept flying. I really like that there is zero crash with this stuff.

    TUESDAY AUGUST 25 - CONDITIONING

    MUSICAL SELECTION

EVERY TIME I DIE - WANDERLUST

    WORKOUT

    Jog to Gym

    Straight Leg Raises
    Abdominal Crunch Machine
    Side Bends
    Reverse Crunches

    6 x 25 Burpees

    Weighted Knee Raises
    Bicycle Crunches
    Torso Rotation
    Weighted Leg Lifts

    Jog from Gym

    WORKOUT NOTES

Surprisingly, the best part of today's workout was the running, which I normally hate. However, the weather was awesome and my legs felt good. Not really a big fan of cardio but the Burpees do get my heart pumping.

    PRODUCT NOTES

Good energy from the 1,3 Dymethylamylamine today, nothing out of the ordinary, but not a disappointment either.

Haha thanks man, I accept Paypal and Peanut Butter for my services.

I was actually thinking of toning down the conditioning to one day each week and switching either to a split like this:

    S: Chest
    M: Back
    T: Conditioning/Core
    W: Legs
    Th: Shoulders/Core
    Fri: Biceps/Triceps
    Sat: Off

Or this ridiculous setup, where I'd be hitting everything once per week except for one group that I'd hit twice, rotating from week to week:

    Week 1-
    S: Chest, Bis
    M: Legs, Core
    T: Tris, Back
    W: Cardio, Core
    Th: Shoulders, Hams
    F: Chest, Bis
    Sat: Off

    Week 2-
    S: Legs, Core
    M: Tris, Back
    T: Shoulders, Hams
    W: Cardio, Core
    Th: Chest, Bis
    F: Legs, Core
    Sat: Off

    Week 3-
    S: Tris, Back
    M: Shoulders, Hams
    T: Chest, Bis
    W: Cardio, Core
    Th: Legs
    F: Tris, Back
    Sat: Off

    Week 4-
    S: Shoulders, Hams
    M: Chest, Bis
    T: Legs, Core
    W: Cardio, Core
    Th: Tris, Back
    F: Shoulders, Hams
    Sat: Off

Thoughts (preferably related to this post)?

Maybe just add finishers at the end of your workout and cut the conditioning/cardio for a little while ?

I did have some issues staying awake in class last semester...Media Law at 8am was particularly challenging. I haven't had a problem yet, but it is early, so I'll keep an eye on it.

Today it was 12x135, 10x185, 8x225 and then the working sets. I used to just do two warm-up sets but I remember reading in your log that you do a more gradual warm-up, and it seems to be working.

Thanks bros. I've actually never used a hex bar, I always just go for the straight bar. In fact I'm not sure there is a hex bar at the gym, I didn't see one although it seems odd they wouldn't have one.

THURSDAY AUGUST 27 - CONDITIONING, SORT OF

    MUSICAL SELECTION

IN FAIR VERONA - THE CAPTAIN THE SHIP

    WORKOUT

    Jog to gym

    Weighted Leg Raises
    Side Bends
    Weighted Crunches
    Abdominal Crunch Machine
    Torso Rotation

    10 Minute 30/30 Cycling Intervals

    Bicycle Crunches
    Russian Twist
    Torso Rotation
    Flutter Kicks
    Abdominal Crunch Machine

    Jog Back

    WORKOUT NOTES

Not really happy with how today went. When I got there it took a few minutes just to get in because there was a line practically out the door, which I found out was for a lame class. I can confidently call the class lame because it took place in the room in which I normally do my burpees and so I had to cycle instead To make matters worse, the gym was packed to New Years Resolution-induced numbers...a ton of new kids with no common sense or gym etiquette wandering around, leaving weights out, talking on their phones while on machines...disaster area.

    PRODUCT NOTES

I'm not sure if it's because I'm taking the one dose of 1,3 Dymethylamylamine in the morning and my body is adapting/building a tolerance, because the energy from the pre-workout dose seems a bit weaker. Or maybe it's the heat. Or maybe because my will to live was sapped by those morons in the gym today.

Try a 2/2 Dosage instead of 1/3 to give more of a stable flow throughout the day and then that next 2 dosage will resume the energy.

    FRIDAY AUGUST 28 - PUSH

    MUSICAL SELECTION

    SENSES FAIL - GARDEN STATE

    WORKOUT

    * denotes a dropset, number after the * is reps with lower weight
RP denotes a rest-pause, number after the -RP- is reps after pausing for rest (10 sec)

    Incline Press: 9; 8; 8; 8

    Leg Extension: 10; 10; 8; 9

    Bench Press: 8; 8; 8; 8

    Squat: 10; 9; 10; 8

    Overhead Press: 8; 8; 8; 7

    Leg Press: 12; 10; 10; 10

    Triceps Pushdown: 8; 7; 7; 8

    WORKOUT NOTES

Good workout to end the week, nice pumps and no soreness (my legs had been a bit sore earlier in the week). Luckily the gym wasn't as mobbed today...good thing tomorrow is an off day as I can't imagine how packed it'll be on a weekend with no football game. Anyway, lifts were solid, no complaints.

    PRODUCT NOTES

I switched up the 1,3 Dymethylamylamine dosing to two morning, two preworkout, but I don't think I'll be sticking with it...I'm usually not that tired in the morning and it didn't seem to make much of a difference, and I didn't really feel any effect with the preworkout dose.
