shoulders got cut short because work called me in early. im going back today to finish up and do legs and if it doesnt rain, im going bike riding before hand. supposed to be sunny all dayWe think we know, that is our tragedy; so we never discover.

so i think i just had the best leg workout of my life. again, no real pump or vascularity, but the endurance is ridiculous. i did more reps of the same weight i always do, and for just as many sets. that was after i did cleans until i was unable to do a weight i wasnt embarrassed to be lifting. i was even worried before hand because my knee had been bothering me. makes me feel like i didnt workout hard enough
wasnt again unable to do bike riding today because my friends bike tires were flat, but tomorrow should be excuse free. we went to the gym ahead of time to play basketball then ate and went back to lift a couple hours later. We think we know, that is our tragedy; so we never discover.

5 star thrad!
finally got around to biking today, did maybe 7 miles round trip exploring a few new bike paths. then went to work for 6 hours. tomorrow is the last chest day of the program before i get back into my own routine.
for future reference, if i happened to do cardio in the morning and lifting at night, how would i dose that? 4,6, or 10 before cardio and 6 before lifting? We think we know, that is our tragedy; so we never discover.

BIG chest day today. been drowsy all day and i was worried being tired would hurt my workout, but i was back up to doing weights i was doing ~month ago. weeks 7-8 i felt like i had lost a lot of strength, then last week was an improvement, and today was back to/above normal. still have seen no vascularity, but again endurance was there till the end, even with the increased weight. i also had a great pump in my chest. i didnt even think to pay attention to my tris/arms because my chest has never been so big.
tomorrow im doing back/bi and i cant wait to see what my arms will look like. it will be nice to see what kind of boost i get on deadlift as well.We think we know, that is our tragedy; so we never discover.

pretty good back day, especially considering i havent gotten much sleep the past 2 nights. nothing unusual for pump in my biceps and still no vascularity, but the endurance was there till the end.
i focused a lot on strength with low reps, high weight.
just wondering since im finished with this chest program, is it ok if i change my rotation back to lifting when i feel recovered? i usually feel good to go after 3 days full rest (meaning lifting again on the 4th day).We think we know, that is our tragedy; so we never discover.

had easily the best leg workout ive ever had today. normally start off with squatting, 3 sets of 185. today i did 185 x 10, 195 x 8, 205 x 8, 225 x3, then hit my max of 235 on my second try. last time i got 235 was fresh after my warm up, so to me that means i hit a new PR. not to mention, my back was still soar from deadlifts on thursday and my shoulder was bothering me (which affects my hold on the weight and puts a lot of pressure on it). did my strength portion for calves then did 8+ sets of 30-40 reps at low weight on the rotary calf presss in between my leg extensions and leg curls. for leg extensions, i did 5 sets on all 5 settings instead of my normal 3, and leg curls i did 4 sets on 4 of 5 different settings before my legs died (different settings put emphasis on beginning, middle, and end of the rep and the 4th and 5th "advanced sets" emphasize beginning/middle and middle/end). did more sets and same/more reps for leg extensions and did 10 more lbs and about the same reps for leg curls.
finished off with an ab workout focusing mostly on side then lower abs, then 2 sets of sit ups to failure.
so again, nothing as far as vascularity goes. the increased endurance is still allowing me to get more reps/sets and workout longer. as far as pump, my quads and calves were huge and my hamstrings were completely tightened. idk if this was from the plasmagen nitrate itself or from doing the increased number of reps, but either way the pump was incredible.
gauging how my shoulder feels, i will do shoulders tomorrow. otherwise i should be good my monday. We think we know, that is our tragedy; so we never discover.

did shoulders today and it felt great. i didnt do cleans because my legs and back are still sore. i actually watched the "getting cut with glass" videos one of you mentioned in another thread and basically did that routine. wasnt a whole lot to do and i got done wanting to do more since it seemed to go by so fast. did a bunch of sets and everything to failure. still nothing for vascularity, but the endurance was present as always.
hopefully my back will be good to go for tomorrow. im gonna be biking a bit if it doesnt rain and then hitting the gym around 5 for back/bis. might skip deadlifting or just do some light weight since only my lower back is sore, but we'll see. tuesday will be either an off day or a short workout for deadlifting depending on how i feel tomorrow.Last edited by -MSR9889-; 08-09-2009 at 12:18 PM.

Nice updates going on in here. The shoulder workout wasn't long enough for you :confused
I split it up into 2 different days because I don't want to hammer them that much.
Side lats/front raises/militaries/push press (with heavy weight)/upright row is a lot, especially with the form that Glass instructs.

maybe its the endurance? the only workout thats made me feel complete was that last leg day.
i did 6 sets of the seated military press (2 sets of 3 and 1 of 2), 4 sets upright row with wide grip, 4 sets shrugs, 4-5 sets seated side lateral raise, and 5 sets of the reverse pec fly things, idk what theyre called.
ive tried so many things and honestly, nothing to my memory has. superpump, juggernaut, white blood, animal pump, shock therapy, nano vapor, no xplode, and a few others and the only stand out workouts ive ever had using them was my first time on no xplode (caffein rush) and a couple with nano vapor. We think we know, that is our tragedy; so we never discover.

another great leg day. squats went 185 x 10, 205 x 10, 205 x 8. i was only able to get 225 twice but i did 205 for 2 sets instead of 1 and got more reps than last time. calf press was simpler this week with just 4 sets of high weight. i bumped up my leg extensions 10 pounds and did the same sets with almost the same number of reps each set. i did leg curls the same weight as last time for the same or more reps as well.
while i have had great endurance for all my workouts this far, my leg workouts are far and away better than the others. ive increased reps on many exercises, but my leg strength as a whole is going up weekly, regardless of my knee bothering me. ive been having problems sleeping for the past week but that doesnt seem to be affecting my lifts at all.We think we know, that is our tragedy; so we never discover.

i had a very solid chest workout today. it was my first time doing my own thing in 11 weeks due to that mass building program. it was a little disheartening because i originally was able to do 175 for 6 reps for 2-3 sets and today i could only get it twice for 1 set and once after that. seems like ive sacrificed a little strength but since my chest is a lot fuller i guess it was worth it. im not sure how much the bruised rib is affecting me either but its almost healed so idk.
i stayed with a wide grip and slowed down my reps a little bit (i watched all those "getting cut with glass" videos and learned a lot from them) and it really put a lot more emphasis on my chest. i had a huge pump only in my chest and my triceps were not sore at all and barely pumped once i finished which has never happened to me on a chest day.
flat bench was 95 x 15, 135 x 5, 145 x 5, 155 x 5, 165 x 5, 170 x 4, 170 x 3, 175 x 2, 175 x 1
incline was 135 x 5, 135 x 6, 145 x 4, 150 x 3
decline was 4 sets of 135 x 4-5
forward cable flyes 2 sets of drop sets from 70-40, dropping 10 lbs each time and going to failure with no break in between
low to high cable flyes 3 sets of 40 x 5
i wanted to do abs but i have to go to work soon and would have been late if i had. im going back tomorrow for back/bis/abs.
im sorry for not listing my sets/reps sooner. figured i should start to really show my results.
sunday or monday im going to be moving into school. i was picked to be an RA and just got called up yesterday and i need to move in 2 weeks early. depending on when i move in and what my schedule is, i may not be able to lift again until tuesday, which will be a shoulders day. might make it shoulders/tris.We think we know, that is our tragedy; so we never discover.
