    Mixability:
Mesomorph is fairly average in this category compared to most other supplements on the market. Some settleing, but nothing that can't be fixed by just shaking it a few times in between sips.

    Taste:
Haha, oh boy. I was a little bit nervous at first really, knowing that the Icariin is hard to mask and that, from what I hear, the original flavoring wasn't too hot. This one isn't bad at all, but it does have one hell of a sour kick to it after each sip. I used 10oz of water when mixing one full scoop, so I'll probably bump that up to 12oz tomorrow and see what that does for it. Overall, it's not hard to drink by any means though. I think APS did a great job with it.

    The Workout: Heavy Bag/Cardio
I did ten 3 minute rounds today, with about 1.5 minutes of rest in between each round. I keep my feet constantly moving while I throw the punches and like to mix in some shadow boxing during each round (bob and weave). I set the pace way more demanding then usual for the first 4 or so rounds and gassed myself out pretty badly but hung in there for the rest of the workout.

    Thoughts:
Well first of all I've never sweat so much in my freakin life! I was coated in a layer of slime by the time I was through with the second round. Energy levels were absolutely through the roof and my aggression definitely seemed higher then usual. I was probably hitting the bag too hard for most of the workout as my hands are beat to hell right now. It seemed like the more exhausted i got though, the more motivated I became to keep going. I get this same feeling when I take Phenadrine, and attribute it to the Icariin + Geranium, it's a sick combo! The directions on Mesomorph say to wait 40 minutes after taking it, but by the time I got to 20 minutes I was gonna explode if I continued to sit still. Beta-Alanine tingles were very present, even though I've been on BA for quite some time now. It's now 2 hours after the end of my workout and I'm getting ready to head into work for the night, my energy level hasn't seemed to dip at all! I'm having trouble just sitting here while I type, I want to keep moving lol. Without a doubt one of the best cardio days I've had in a while.

Tomorrow I hit legs and I'm psyched to see how Mesomorph effects me during some actual resistance training. I'm still trying to figure out a good way to display my Monday/Thursday workouts for you guys as they seem overly complicated on paper but are actually really simple in practice. I'm excited to unveil my routine here too, as I hope some of you try some of the stuff I do...it's intense!

    wow.

    Day #2 - Legs

Notice: Every rep of every set is performed with the absolute absence of momentum. Momentum is an outside force that aids your in the lifting of a weight, thus reducing the force of the muscular contraction needed to successfully complete a rep. In physics, work is defined as the product of force and distance, and as athletes our goal is maximize the amount of work we do in order to obtain the best results possible. This can be accomplished by applying the greatest possible force over the greatest possible distance. Range of motion is key.

    Red indicates a super set
Underlines indicate an increase in either weight or reps since the previous session
Italics indicate a rest pause set; 10 deep breathes in between intervals

    The Workout: Legs/Abs

    Leg Press
    200 x 10
    450 x 8+3+1

    Leg Extensions
    120 x 10
    Leg Press
    300 x 10

    Lying Leg Curls
    140 x 10
    Leg Press
    300 x 10

    Leg Press
    300 x 10+5+3

    Machine Calf Raise
    200 x 10
    465 x 12+10+8

    Seated Cable Crunches
    70 x 10
    110 x 12+8+4

    Thoughts:
Mesomorph hit me really fast today, seemed like a matter of minutes really. For those curious too, I'm not taking this on an empty stomach per the directions either (I take it about 30 minutes after consuming food) and the effects are very profound and come on quickly. So don't fret if the empty stomach thing turns you away from it. Energy levels were really high again and definitely sensed an increase in aggression. As I said yesterday, it seems as if the more exhausted i get the more I want to keep going. I can distinctly remember getting mad at myself for wanting to quit short of my goal during some sets, and it motivated me to keep going. I couldn't even raise myself out of the leg press after my first super set today, had to sit there and wait for the burn in my legs to subside. I'm definitely experiencing a sense of well being from Mesomorph as well, which seemed to help me stay focused during the workout today. Left a trail of sweat every where I went today too, so there seems to certainly be a thermogenic effect going on here. The pump in my quads when I finished up on the leg press was crazy, I could barely walk just from the sheer amount of blood in my legs. I met every goal I had for the workout today and even felt like I could have went heavier on the calf raises (going to me maxing out the machine next week I think), so I'm extremely pleased. Have to get ready for work now, and still feeling great!

Let me know if you have any suggestions for making the workout easier to follow. You'll notice I do a lot of back and forth with pre-exhausted super sets (more so on Mondays), so I tried to make that as clear as possible. I've got a brand new workout planned for Monday that I'm excited to try, will be hitting chest, back, and abs.

lol, yeah the underlines will be ever present . I work my ass off to insure that I increase in either weight or reps every workout....constant progress. It's probably also worth noting that my rep numbers in each set arn't just pulled out of my ass, I work every set to the point of failure.

This is awesome. I want to print this out and hang it all over my gym. And just watch peoples heads drop in shame.

This is a great reveiw thus far. It completely made up my mind to get this for next cycle. Considering it stays strong for quite some time. Much more than just a stim pre wo mix. Awesome job RxAJ. I'm glad you got picked over me because I don't think I could do this product as much justice as you are. Can't wait to see blueboys review.
I got big by re-racking your weights....

    RESPECT

I like to pre-load all of my supplements for 2yrs before lifting seriously. I feel so vascular and the pumps are INSANE!

    April 2008, I weighed 157lbs.

that day 2 update was amazing, if this log keeps that level of detail and easy to follow outline with the red superset, italic rest-pause, etc then this will easily become one of the best logs i've followed to date.

Thanks a lot man! I have no doubt you'll love this product.

    Day #3 - Heavy Bag

    Taste Testing:
I mixed one scoop of Mesomorph with the 12oz of water today to see if I could remedy that sour kick I was talking about. It made a rather significant difference to my surprise. The result was a much smoother taste, but still with a slight kick at the end of each sip...much more tolerable though. As of right now I'd recommend the 12oz over 10oz to most people. Was rather enjoyable to drink really.

    The Workout: Heavy Bag/Cardio
Did the same ten rounds as Wednesday with the same intervals but kept a much steadier pace this time instead of gassing myself out early. I did some unplanned calisthenics (push ups and pull ups) during my "rest" periods today. Nothing too intense at all, but I just felt the need to keep working even though I'm usually more then happy to rest for the full 1.5 minutes between rounds.

    Thoughts:
A pattern of sweat, aggression, and drive is becoming very evident. I'm including a picture today of me sweating my ass off after the workout, but the ****ty lighting doesn't really do justice. I'll try for another picture on Monday if I get some sick pumps going on. I'm thinking these heavy bag workouts are going to be a good way to track any increase in muscular endurance throughout the log, as I should be able to gauge that rather well based on how my shoulders feel after throwing hundreds of punches. So I'll be keeping an eye on that since my resistance training is kept to low reps for the most part. I've got the whole weekend now to rest and recovery before I go back into the gym on Monday to declare war on my upper body.

No homo please and thank you

lol, tell me about it. I've been a big boxing fan my whole life, and while watching i get all amped. But I've never once had a session, perhaps I should look into that as a less dreadful form of cardio.

That's exactly why I got into it actually. I've never been much of a runner, although I still do it on Tuesdays, and needed something to get my cardio in while keeping sane. The heavy bag is fun substitute....it just feels good to hit something every once and a while.
