    ahh i love this, i wish i found this in the morning. was frustrated because i gained weight with my checkins and totally messed up on my diet all day. I'll keep reading this everytime I feel unmotivated

    So i was bullied for being skinny. And now i am trying to bench press 50 lbs for the last couple of weeks without any knowledge or advise from any adult. So i was wondering can u give me any advise

    Three years ago I got back i nto bodybuilding after an 18 year layoff-my dad got cancer,I caregave,he died...then my brother got sick,caregave,died two years later.In 2011 Mom passed after 8 years of Alzheimers...I was so depressed and down.It came to me to get back in the gym,I did and muscle memory kicked in big time.I am now a trainer attendant at said gym.Things have turned around...

    should get motivated on the right time

    Don't you guys think that getting motivated on the right time when a person is about top give up is more important. Self confidence is the matter when one is giving up. All arte strong from inside but no one know untyil we get motivated. this is what exactly happen with me when i was doing my dissertation. I stared the dissertation by myself but when the entire process reached to the middle of the paper i couldn't keep my mind in my control and gone for custom dissertation writing service. But if that happening now i would never give up becuase i know who am i and what potential do i have myself.

    As everyone said, #9 really hits home. I have been skinny my whole life, but have made a commitment to put on muscle the past 2 months. I have been eating clean and cooking for myself, while my family tells me I'm obsessive and "not enjoying life." Even my friends try to convince me to eat unhealthy things; I personally think they try to peer-pressure me to [eat unhealthy] make themselves feel better about not eating clean.

    People will not understand it, but they'll be the first people to complain they need to lose weight.

    I try to manage #9 by doing something i read in an article once. It said that it's easier to control cravings if you simply take 10% of your daily caloric intake and blow it on treats/goodies/snacks. So i have something relatively small each day, and that helps to prevent me from eating a whole bag of chips with queso (my kroptonite), or a carton of ice cream once in awhile.

    I know me well enough that I'll never be that broccoli/chicken breast/brown rice 24/7 guy. I eat better and healthier than I did before, but Im more concerned with being more active then hitting all those macros the bible thumpers get on about. yes it'll take me longer to get there, but it's my journey, I'll set the pace.

Everyone always tells me that I've come far enough, or suggests that i miss a workout to do something with them, or tries to convince me to drink, or says "youre no fun anymore." But i dont want to look like them, and i dont want a life like theirs. So i dont care about their opinions
