    Cable work.

    Low bodyfat helps as well.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

regular stuff, easiest to work are those upper ones.
One reaps what they sow. Though the wicked may seem to prevail, the righteous one will be content in the work he has done to ensure those he touches were treated with the worth that every being has the right to receive.

I find the upper abs easier to hit than lowers. TOo often when trying to work lower abs, hip flexors take over.

But yeah, you already got your answers on exercises.

i don't recommend the rope AB exercise because it requires both your AB and your back, if your back is not as strong you can easily injure you spine while doing this... from my personal experience

regardless of "upper" or "lower" you are actual training the same slab of muscle, the reason that upper ab muscle always appeared quicker because more fat is store in the lower abdominal region.

Yeah upper abs are a nightmare to develope, i usually find at low enough bodyfat levels that the two lower ones again (most peoples 7th and 8 pack abs) are more prominent than the top two.

I think i read somewhere that genetics has a lot to do with it as well, some people only get a 4 pack while others could have an 8.

Not to sound weird, but would you happen to have a pic to support this?
Usually most people have a problem getting the lower ones to show (as another poster said, because fat tends to be stored lower), so the top two show a bit easier. Can't say I've ever seen anyone with the opposite case.

forgot to mention: you do not need to focus on ab muscle too often since you are actual training it while doing almost every other exercises, the ab muscle is an important muscle that transfers strenght between your upper and lower body along with the hip flexor. train ab muscle too intense/often will jeopardize your performance in every other exercise.

not possible, only genetics can tell. Just be happy with what you get from your hard work, and keep going at it, get stronger!

Always use resistance, and if you can finish with bodyweight reps.

I know why they are generally more prominent. That isn't what I'm discussing. I'm talking about exercises that place emphasis on upper or lower.
