im 6'3" with 79 1/2" reach. id say thats pretty good.


lesnar has a 81" reach but if you look at his build his arms arent that long its mostly how wide his chest is so i dont get why reach isnt measure by how long your arms are

What? Lesnar has long gorilla arms. His reach isn't long just because of his chest. You're not flexing your chest when you extend your arms.

I'm 6 ft with 78.5" reach. Mostly arms too because my shoulders aren't wide.

It benefits me in the striking department. My jab gives people problems and my right cross/straight comes in with a ton of velocity. I haven't seen too many advantages in grappling except for its easier to sink in chokes like modified guillotines, head and arm, and ezekiel chokes. I've also become pretty adept at escaping arm bars. Grip fighting can be tough at times but I don't if its a mechanical disadvantage or weather its because I suck at it.

Mike Tyson in his prime was the most dangerous fighter that have ever existed and his reach was normal, 71'' and he was 5'11'' (not 5'10'' like some believe)

I street fought at heavyweight even though i was 180 and could technically compete at light heavy, there were just no challenges there for me in the lower divisions. i was knocking out these heavyweights left and right. Retired undefeated because it just got boring and predictable.
