    MYM Keto Log

    WELCOME TO MYM's KETO LOG

    Time to start one!

    height: 5'8
start weight of cutting (may 30): 147.5 lbs
1 week into serious keto (july 3): 144 lbs

    Bodyfat
may 30th (bioelectrical impedance spectroscopy -> BIS): 9.2%
    july 3rd: 7.2%

*note: i know BIS is not very accurate, so i am solely using this to compare my bodyfat loss, NOT my actual bodyfat. I estimate my actual bodyfat to be about 3% higher than the results.

Goal:cut down to 8-9% bf while maintaining as much muscle as possible, then clean bulk

    Results from the BIS:
lost 0.66 lbs of lean muscle mass
    lost 3.09lbs of fat

^again, not very accurate, but im happy that im not losing too much muscle (strength has been going up or staying the same). And i had a leg injury and couldnt train legs for awhile, so the muscle loss was probably from my leg.

    Diet
Ill post my macros from the past few days:
    june 30:
    cals: 1804
    62/3/35 (fat/carb/protein)

    july 1:
    cals: 1850
    63/4/33

    july 2:
cals: 2300 (made a mistake and went overboard last night on one meal)
    65/5/30

Typical diet consists of eggs, some sausages from time to time, cheddar cheese, peanut butter, pork chops, lean beef, olive oil, with supplementation of whey protein, fish oil, and a multivitamin

    Workout
    5 Day Split:
    mon: chest/abs
    tues: back/ cardio
    wed: shoulders/ abs and/or cardio
    thurs: arms
    fri: legs
    sat: cardio/abs
    sun: rest/cardio

type of workout: warmup, lift 8 reps in the working set, lift 5-6 reps in the last set
    cardio: LISS 2x a week and HIIT/moderate jogging 1-2x a week

its working great so far, today a personal trainer came up to me and asked me if i wasnt squating too much weight. I told him no, its my usual working set and he asked me to show him and he approved of my form (this guys known for his strictness on form)

anyway, todays macros are as follows

    cals: 1762
    59/4/37

protein intake was high today than usual, but i worked extra hard cause it was leg day. Will tone it down in from now on, but most likely i took less protein than fitday tells me cause i had drumsticks for dinner and fitday seems to have problems with meat calculations.
