looking a lot of homemade weight gainers...wanted to add some oats...but dont want to grind it myself...is there oat powder anywhere?

I blend mine with a little bit of milk in a blender...then i add the rest of my items to blend up....the liquid gives it some viscosity to blend correctly

I actually posted some pics of oats I grinded into powder with a $10-$15 hand held coffee bean grinder, nothing could be easier. I'll link to the post if I can find it...

I buy big bags of oats at a sams club and blend a bag at a time and just put the ground up oats in an old protein tub. That way I can just scoop em out anytime I want like my whey. It doesn't get any easier than that and it takes 2 minutes to blend a whole 6 lbs.

I read once that grinding them down to a fine powder effects the glycemic index of the oats which I suppose makes sense since coarse steel cut oats are often considered superior. I since abandoned the coffee grinder. I'll use them in a blender PW and even when blended they still require a bit of a digestive effort.
