List of every exercise for the body.

lets see if we can make a list of every single exercise known to man.

That way, instead of people asking "tell me some good excercises for the chest" for example. they could just look here, then do your research about how to do the exercise properly.

Also, this would be good or people like me who are always looking to try new excercises.

Just list the name of the exercise, and what muscle group it works (back, legs etc.) and i will add it to the list. And if there is a "slang" word for the excercise, give me that too.

If there is any mistakes or you think an excercise belongs in a different section, let me know.

The whole idea is to have information HERE. Thats why this site exists.

    Edit:

    right dude.

The whole idea is to have information HERE. Thats why this site exists.

    Edit:

Now that think of it, everything I post here is met with some kind of negative B.S. Precisly why I stayed away from these boards for so many years.

Uhh.....this list confuses me. You only need two exercises to work everything properly.

    Bench Press
    Curls

    Bam, list complete.

long, win with the barney reference!

In seriousness. OP, thsi thread is fail, because there are lists ALL over. Yes, good job on having initiative, and trying to be helpful/whatever. But really, the supersite already has lists of exercises for the muscles, exrx.net is the standard that everyone uses. Actually any exercise forum has some form of list. This is superfluous.

Don't get your panties in a bunch because people pointed that out.

I agree exrx.net is a great site, but it certainly does NOT have the largest exercise database I've ever seen. That being said this list could be a bit overwhelming to a newb though.
