The only other sleep aid I have used is Optimum Nutrition Melatonin. This usually helps me fall asleep but I sometimes have problems staying asleep once the sun comes up. Hopefully this will help me stay asleep longer.
Im already a little tired from some sleep loss a couple nights ago. Tonight Im downing 4 and hoping for the best.

So i just ate my final meal of the day, serving of almonds and a whey/casein protein shake. i plan on taking my abyss at 10:30.

it took me about an hour to fall asleep last night and i woke up twice, around 130 and around 430. in total i got around 7 hours of sleep but i woke up this morning wide awake and feeling great. surprised considering how tired i was yesterday.
2nd dose will be tonight around 11 when i get home from work.We think we know, that is our tragedy; so we never discover.

as far as i know, no tossing and turning or rolling over to get more comfortable like i usually do and im pretty sure i made it through the night without waking up once.We think we know, that is our tragedy; so we never discover.

only got about 7 hours asleep but im feeling fine. ive noticed that this hasnt helped me fall asleep but it keeps me asleep. i dont wake up in the middle of the night like i normally do except to go to the bathroom.

pretty upset this morning, i wasnt able to sleep in
feel pretty good considering i only got ~6 hours of sleep. again, slept all the way through the night without waking up, rolling over, etc.
so this was my last night with the Abyss. Thanks again Tim for giving me this opportunity. its been really great being able to get a full nights rest without tossing and turning like i normally do, especially with my room getting as hot as it does some nights.We think we know, that is our tragedy; so we never discover.

If I had the money, I would definitely consider buying a bottle. For about the past year I have had problems falling asleep, regardless of how tired I was/am and how little sleep I had been getting. I also had many nights where I woke up in the middle of the night and could not fall back asleep and the mornings after I always feel terrible and am slow to get up and going.Originally Posted by _NimbusTim_

Using Abyss, I did not see much benefit as far as helping me fall asleep faster but the number of times Ive woken up during my sleep these past 5 nights has been negligible. Ive had no problems springing out of bed in the morning, even on as little as 6 hours of sleep. My muscle recovery has also been very good lately (perhaps from the deeper sleep?)
Because of my experience, I wouldnt recommend this product for people who have problems falling asleep but I definitely would to anyone who has problems staying asleep.
Comparing it to melatonin, Id have to go with melatonin for the cost and affects on pulling me asleep but it doesnt compare to Abyss' affects on keeping me asleep. Id say for anyone who has problems staying asleep, its more than worth $1 per night of deep, refreshing sleep.
