There are no videos on youtube for The Confessor, so this will have to do.

sort of off subject - not listening to anything currently but have been bitten by audiophile bug again and am currently making plans to rebuild my system - consisting of some low power single ended class a monoblock tube amps with EL34's or KT88 tubes. i have some very efficient speakers so i don't need a lot of power. i found an Audio Research tube pre amp (which i used to own) on one of the audiophile trading sites and with some chimera labs wire i should be good to go. actually an acquaintance is the owner of chimera labs and he's also a kickass audio engineer - he's helping me match amps to speakers. he built the prototype ace audio monoblocks that used to power the system at one time, so i might just go with those again. i like how there is an option to add a sweet potentiometer on each amp so if i go with these i'll also go with that option.
can't wait - been awhile since i was totally awestruck by my system.A successful woman is one who can build a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at her

Sound like a sweet setup, Julie!
Here's one I used to blast on my system back in the late 70's. Blew the kitchen window out in my apartment one day! Ahh, the good old days!
Also saw these guys live when they were the headliner for a three band tour. The other two bands? Judas Priest played the middle set, and Cheap Trick was the rookie opening act!
Not quite the same without Schenker, but Vinnie Moore is a more than capable guitarist:

that was quite a show!!! i saw priest 3 times in my life so far, and the first time, when they opened for zep, they were on their very first tour, sucked, and didn't even really have a definitive sound. saw ufo recently but schenker wasn't with them. still, it was a damned good show.
ah yes, the good old days right! back in the BOOM era i used to run two phase linear 400 watt amps/pre amp. 1 amp was dedicated to run a cerwin vega compound loaded (push pull array) sub woofer with two 18" folded cloth cv subs. the other 400 watt amp had another set of vegas with 15's and then another set of speakers (can't remember the kind) but they were 4-way with 12's bass drivers.
you could feel the bass around the block lmao. since phase linear was one of bob carver's companies (silver 7's ftw) i felt ok running these.A successful woman is one who can build a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at her

Couple of my favorite cruising songs from the late 70's. These songs take me back to the days of Cragars with steamroller tires, stoplight drags, and leaded gas. Cranking stuff like Boston, Ted Nugent, and Foreigner on the old Pioneer Supertuner cassette deck. Guys with long hair and girls in tight bellbottoms. Ahh, the good old days!
