I'm thankful for last Thursday. I haven't seen my brother for 3 years. We email almost daily but he's been deployed to Iraq twice now. He managed to get leave to attend my niece's high school graduation. There was plenty of family in town so I scraped the money together and bought a ticket to fly to Ft. Hood Texas. My sister-in-law had told him he was at the airport to pick up his mother-in-law. He wasn't expecting me and didn't even notice me until I walked right up to him and say "hey bro". You see he was awarded the Bronze Star in his first tour and has never talked about it until we were alone over the weekend. My sister-in-law has no idea that he is on the roads in Iraq in a humvee. I'm thankful for our visit and that when we hugged at he airport I told him "love you bro".

I am grateful that I woke up on the top side of the dirt and spent most of the day enjoying mother nature.

I tell it like it is, if you want smoke blown up your ass or something sugar coated. I suggest you get a Hooker and a powdered donut.

If any thread should have been raised from the dead, it's this one.
Grateful my family is at home safe and warm with everything they need. Grateful my Jeep is a boss in the snow and I got to work safely. Grateful I'm in a position now at work where I don't have to be out on the road unless I want to be.

Fkn nice. I'm about 2 years behind that being my main goals for my day. Cheers!
Great thread bump.
I'm grateful for my health; my Family; my ability to support us; and knowing the good side of love (I know the bad sides too). But I have good love in my life. So glad to have that.Envy is ignorance. Imitation is suicide.

I'm grateful for having a strong, healthy mind. Grateful for having an amazing wife. Grateful to have the financial means to leave my job after ten years and travel the country with my wife, who is a travel nurse now after leaving her job of 5 years. Grateful to not have been financially affected by Covid at all. Grateful to have a group of people who truly love me.
I just took a Helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon the other day. In that moment, I thought about how outrageous that would have even been to enter my mind coming from where i'm from. Growing up poor, eating free lunch at the park next door everyday in the summer, to being in the position I am now, is truly astonishing.
All of these things are not to be taken for granted. You don't realize how blessed you are until you see someone who doesn't have what you have.
