good win today. still a little disappointed we gotta keep having these late inning rallies to win, but a wins a win!
i got this new app for the iphone, mlb something, you can listen to any game on your phone, so i went to the gym and listened to it while i worked out, i was freakin pumped!! no more waiting for swisher to fight through 10 pitches at the end of the game before i can hit the gym!I'm 12 and what is this?

Wow, second page lovin' for me. That's pretty cool.
Another average performance by Joba today. Still have yet to see that dominating pitcher that I saw when he was a setup man. I still think that's where he belongs, but the starting lineup needs him right now since Hughes has been inconsistent and Wang has been flat out terrible.
I hear that Bruney threw a bit today - something like 30 pitches. I guess he felt fine. More good news***I rep back (400+)***

I hate to see Hughes lose the spot but you have to give the benefit of the doubt to the guy who won 19 back to back......

06/01 @CLE W 5-2 IP:8.0 H:4 R:2 ER:2 HR:1 BB:2 K:5
That was the start before yesterday.
His last two starts: IP: 14, H: 9 R: 5 ER: 5 HR: 1 BB: 3 K: 9 WHIP: 0.86 BAA .180 ERA: 3.21
He is still on the inconsistent side but he will become a front-line starter given time. Remember, hes still only 23 years old. Right now his ERA is 3.79 and his WHIP is 1.40...Who is gonna complain about that?Last edited by 89FoxBody; 06-08-2009 at 06:32 AM.

agreed. i dont think joba pitched poorly yesterday. garza did well too, and it was a slow grinding game. 6IP 5H 3R 1BB 4SO, and got to 100 pitches. it really hinged on the 6th. both garza and joba got into trouble, but garza got out of it, and joba wasnt so lucky.
im more nervous about which pettitte will show up tonight, and making sure we dont make sonnenstine look like an all-star again, we need to hit him, hard!I'm 12 and what is this?

We got rough up Sonnastine tonight. Last time he pitched against us, he looked like a Cy young winner.
