    Realistic Goal for 6 Months?

I am getting married in January and it's time to get serious about my weight. I got lazy during college, and I have gained 30lbs since high school. I have a small beer gut right now due to my love of the brew, but I am cutting out all alcohol and soda for til the end of the year.

Anyways, what would be a realistic goal for me? Below is a picture, I was told that I am around 23% BF.

More info about my cut can be found here: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=116845811

    Thanks Guys!

Stick to your plan and you could easily acheive 15% BF or lower even, 6 months is a long time. Just watch carbs after six o clock, eat 5-6 small meals a day, hit the cardio hard and maintain good nutrition. You can still drink diet pop too its not the best for you but I found that it subdued my cravings for sugar and sweets when I was cutting. Seems like you got a goal and you know what you gotta do so just put the in work and you'll get what you want. Good Luck bud!

Even if you only aim for a pound a week, which I'd consider underachieving, if you started now you could lose 25-30 lbs in 6 months.

If I loose the weight too fast, would I have a harder time doing a clean bulk?

I don't want to loose the weight and turn around and gain it all back once I up my calories?

I am hoping I can drop down to 180 in 2 months, then reevaluate my goals from there.

not only does pop (soda) help you lose your 'baby fat' or water weight, it deteriorates muscle.

so cutting it out would be an excellent idea. i did a month ago, once in a while is fine, but i feel better, and lost about 2 pounds of my baby fat....

How exactly is that obvious? He said not only does pop (soda) help you lose your 'baby fat' or water weight".

I am craving a pepsi right now, today is my first day without soda, but I did have a redbull.
