    20 pound cut to get shredded for summer!

    Did a pretty good cut so far. started of at 202 lbs on Feb 5th.







    Made weight for Powerlifting competition but got injured so I had to stop the cut.



    Started dieting and lifting seriously on March 18th (2 months), I was about 193 lbs.



    Since then I have been working out like a Maniac and losing bodyfat without losing significant strength or muscle.




    Currently 182 lbs. (5-14-09)

    Diet was a pretty balanced diet for the first month or so. meats, rice, and veggies were my friends. Just calories at about 500 deficit.

    75 g Fat
    225 g Carbs
    225 g Protein

    Past month or so I've been having 3 shakes and 2 meals a day. Calories at about 700 deficit

    100 g Fat
    150 g Carbs
    200 g Protein

    I remember that original post being brought up about a year ago.. it is the same dude but these pics are recent and thos pics from 07 are older ones.. two different cuts. i think his original cut explained how he actually did it.

    I've been doing about 5 days a week of lifting. but on days off I usually get some cardio in. I have a Heavy bag at my house and usually hit that for 30-40 minutes. I do this a few times a week. definitely on my days off, but often times I make it a second workout on my gym days.

    honestly, I don't really believe in supplements. 90% don't really do anything. the other 10% do alot less than people claim they do.

    I took Ephedra, and 2 lipo-6x 30 minutes before my workout. Mostly for the energy aspect of it.

    I already said it before. I don't do anything secretive for my cuts. Its literally just plain HARD work and dedication. The things I do, most people on this forum have the knowledge or can find the knowledge to accomplish.

    The difference is I have a plan and I stick to it 100%. I don't stray, I don't skip workouts, I don't cheat, and I pretty much have discipline to do exactly what I planned to do. Thats the main difference btween myself and most others.

    I have no doubt that anybody who went through the exact thing I have would get similar results.

    I have done the whole super clean and working ones ass of im the gym for 30days thing, and I didnt lose anythink like this. The most I dropped in 30days was 12.5lb, sum water sum muscle and ya sum fat.

    I guess you have great genetics

    Q your workouts, thats a bulking program right ???

    1) He's done it before and has been at it long enough so he knows what he is doing.
    2) His body fat wasn't that high, he was more bloated than anything.

    Keep at it and you'll get results

    my genetics are lower than average if anything. It's my work ethic that is unrivaled.


    But the truth is, if you guys saw my workouts, you'd probably flip yourself. You don't know how many people claim they workout hard, but when they see me working out, the intensity level is not even close.

    Also, the main thing is, I DO NOT STRAY from the program at all.

    I don't eat when I'm hungry. I eat when I am supposed to.

    I don't eat what I want. I eat what I'm supposed to

    I stay strict because I have expectations for the end result and I know I can't cheat in order to get there.

    I also have the advantage of being self employed so fitness is always on my mind. I often hit my heavy bag for 30-40 minute (HIIT) during the day and get my workout in at night as well.



    PLUS this was over a 3 month period. That's why I was able to lose very little muscle. 30 days like last time would of lost a lot of mass and strength as well. this was a slow cut for me.

    my workouts for a cut are almost the same as my bulking workouts. only thing I change is diet for a cut.

    This is my secret to maintaining my strength levels....
