The whey i've got is a 25g scoop, of which it claims 17.5g of protein, plus a couple grams from 350mls of milk. If i have that, that gets me roughly 20g of protein per shake, as i have read in a lot of places that the body can only absorb 20g of protein in one quick sitting (a meal like a shake)
But at the same time i know of a lot of people that like to use 2-3 scoops PWO. Whats all your opinions on this issue?
Reps for insightful answers ofc.

How many Gs of protein do you aim for in a shake?
This is England.

The amount of protein that can be absorbed from one sitting has never been proved. Disregard anything you read on this subject unless it is, or refers to, a published clinical study.
Studies have shown that the amount of protein needed to maximise protein synthesis PWO is 20g. Follow this up with a balanced, whole food meal about an hour later.
