MMO Baseball: Misc dominates another online sport!

Some of you might know about GLB, which is a football mmorpg. What makes this game different is that is FREE

well MMO Baseball is essentially the same thing...but for baseball. (duh)

Not Ripped Yet went ahead and bought a team for us:

we currently have a team of about 50% miscers, but trying to find more.

in this thread we will discuss all things MMO baseball related.

you get 300 pts to start with and you use pts to create players/buy upgrades

100 pts - Pitcher
300 pts - IF
200 pts - OF

Goggles is only keeping one of his first baseman once he gets his points reset, so the IF needs is a little higher than it looks.

It looks like the first day's salary processed, so you should be able to train a bit more. Also the first game is tomorrow at 4pm EST!

i've trained a little but i'll do it again tomorrow before the game cause i'll be busy tonight

also it would be really helpful if you tell me where to assign SP please

Not real sure to be honest, there isn't a guide out yet on attributes and being the first season it's pretty up in the air. At this point I'd say you can't really go wrong with arm strength and accuracy as a pitcher though. Vision probably doesn't hurt either.

yeah i've been training strength and accuracy, so i'll work on vision too

and what about stamina?

There's a few people waiting to sign up and having an issue, I would just keep checking.

The game has been around for, literally, like 4 days. lol Our team ID = 2 my user is like 160 or something like that. Still kind of buggy, but big potential for the Misc to get in on the ground floor to dominate.

the creator of the game was not expecting such a huge turnout so he has been adding capacity every day. he can barely keep up.

The scoreboard is showing us down 3-2 in the top of the ninth with us at bat, but the inning by inning breakdown doesn't have any runs for the other team.

Edit: and it seems you may be right about offensive ability. It shows us with 15 hits vs. their 5

Lol ya I was just gonna post that, not sure whats up. Also if you click view full game, it says top of the 8th with two outs, but still shows a run for us in the top of the 9th.

Yeah, I was flipping through the boards and the user ID's are up around the 5,000's already. Considering he initially only planned to release 2 leagues (72 teams) for Beta with a roster size of 25 per team, given the cost of players I don't think he was really expecting more than 750 or so users, definitely not more than 1000.
