I hate to say this but your responding to a post from 2009 not 2013, isn't it time to get over these little insecurities and realise that there are somethread's that aren’t going to change. Why not just focus on those things you can change, like posting in threads from this year?

...But lettuce beef reality, if your hips are wide you are hosed for aesthetics. You might as well just train for athletic performance and take pleasure in just being a total beast, because you're never gonna look good in the traditional wasp waisted sense, not ever.
There's a silver lining to everything though - apparently wide hips provide better leverages for squats and deadlifts.
