Most adults don't bench 100 pounds (I'd say 80-90%) if they've never weight lifted, let alone a 13 year old.

At age 14 I could do 135 bench, I did lots of push ups back then...
and about 20 pull ups.
At age 16 I could do 315 once on bench... now haha ready to laugh
335 once and I am 24yr old for bench.
Pretty weak but I am just starting to get back into working out after about 5 years on/off...
Too bad I can't start over with the knowledge I know now.
I will let you guys know how I progress...
been a month so far and started lifting 135 for reps...
now lifting 225 for reps for about 12 times on bench... muscle memory I am guessing... plus I am eating correctly I am 6'1" 225lbs eat about 270 grams of protein... not on any supplements besides whey protein.

5'10" 185-190lbs
Started at age 19:
weight 220
bench 235
squat 415
deadlift 415
Yesterday:21
weight 189
Bench 315
squat 525
deadlift 475 @ 3 of 5reps
-My lifting history has been strange though. My sr. year of highschool i had a max squat of 515 parallel at the body weight of 185lbs. Then laid off of lifing when i graduated and started again 2yrs out. I think that lift that helped the most with my squat was TrapBar dead lift. I love that lift, only problem is that i havent been to a gym yet that has one, let alone even heard of one.Wise men don't judge: they seek to understand

Not sure if you guys are refering to my post but i guess i assumed that i'd be asked to prove these lifts w/a pic or somthing. I guess that i could prove it, get a digital camera or somthing, but not sure if i'd rather look like a dufus here by not proving or in the gym for takin pics of myself. And thanks for saying these are strong lifts....sometimes i dont feel so strong or big 5'10" 190. I may have some football pics up soon though, i play for a semipro football team in denver i'll link that website and let ya know when i get some pics up. But until then i guess yall just have to trust. If you want you can ask on the message board there about me, they may vouge for me. Nobody on the team has seen me lift except for my partner but the can tell you that i dont lie about stuff like that too much.

wow these weights I've been reading about are extremely impressive. with some of thosse benches you could turn pro before you get your license. My lifts are pretty realistic. I started when I was 15 and weighed 149.
Squat: 330
Bench: 202
Deadlift: 355
not bad, bt now I'm 17 and my wiehgt is a little lower @ 147
Squat: 360
Bench: 225
Deadlift: 400
Not much of a gain but I spent too much time trying to cut up and get defined for body building. What a waste

Here is my routine if this helps you bigjay...it's a football program called BFS (bigger faster stronger) and it has worked wonders for the whole team.
It's kind of hard to explain so I'll try my best ...On Mondays I do flat bench, box squat, and auxiliary lifts like dips and curls. On Wednesdays, I deadlift, powerclean, and either military press or incline bench. On Fridays, I parallel squat, towel bench (it's a bench variation where you put a small pad on your chest and tap the pad then press), and auxiliary lifts. The sets and reps are as follows:
Week 1
3 sets of 3 reps each (on all lifts except auxiliary, which is usually 2 x10)
Week 2
5 sets of 5 reps each
Week 3
5 reps, then 3, then 1 (this is your 1RM)
Week 4
10 reps, 8 reps, 6 reps ***except on cleans and deadlifts, which are 4, 4 ,2
Well, that's it. It's a great strength and power program to say the least...hope I helped and didn't confuse you too much.

When i was like 13 i benched 115 i think power cleaned around 100 push pressed like 110 and squated around 200 i cant really remember but i just maxed out 2 weeks ago and i am now 16 and i
Benched 215
sqauted 365
power cleaned 200
push pressed 220
incline benched 210
some of these are calculated one rep max's so they r a little off like i think i benched 195 4 times or sumthing like that wich came out to 215 and the same kind of thing with some of the other lifts but they are prettyacurate

I have trouble cleaning a lot of weight on the powerclean, hang clean, etc.Like,I can do the first half of the lift, but when I get to the cleaning part{like when i'm "dropping under the weight",and just a little bit before that},I have trouble getting a lot of weight up on that part. What can I do to help with that problem?

jak i would say prolly the best thing is work on ur form. When i first started i didnt really know how to clean that great but we got a new coach who helped me on my form a lot and it made my weight on clean and snatch go up a lot. im also going to start including high pulls into my routine and i think that is goin to help a lot to.
