Just wondering, ive never competeted before but I have a disease which makes my muscles ripple, would that give me an advantage in a contest? Dont worry there arent any serious negative side effects lol
Now I cannot show you an example as I guess this website has a stupid rule were you can post links or images until you have posted over 50 threads, but if go on youtube and just search rippling muscle disease you can see some examples.
Also keep in mind the bigger the muscles the more they'll ripple

I think it's called neuromyotonia (AKA Isaac's Disease) and there are three types, acquired, heriditary, and paraneoplastic. There's a very concise synopsis at the Wiki site and also check out isaacsyndrome.proboards.com in case you want more info.
"Don't call me Miss Kitty. Just...don't."--Catnip. Check out the Catnip Trilogy on Amazon.com
"Chivalry isn't dead. It just wears a skirt."--Twisted, the YA gender bender deal of the century!
Check out my links to Mr. Taxi, Star Maps, and other fine YA Action/Romance novels at http://www.amazon.com/J.S.-Frankel/e/B004XUUTB8/ref=dp_byline_cont_ebooks_1

It should not affect your placing at all but I would let the contest promotor know and maybe he/she/they will inform the judges so they don't think you're doing some weird posing up there.
All competitors usually get to have some stuff read to the audience, you mght want to mention this there for the same reasons.
Not for sympathy purposes, but to let them know what your body is doing up there and why.
