Just wondering what are good alternatives to Protein powder straight after you finish your workout...

Chocolate milk is a great choice. If refrigeration is a problem, use powdered milk + chocolate mix (Nestquick, Ovaltine, etc).

hmm... decent protein powder should be cheaper than other sources. especially sources like beef or chicken. calculate it out, a tub of protein gives you much more protein for the price of a bag of chicken. you gotta convert ratio's tho. like for 10 dollars of the protein tub and 10 dollars of chicken. more protein is in the supplement.

Ha, I know a girl who told me that chocolate milk was the BEST thing you could have following your workout. I told her she was wrong, that whey protein shake was much better. She responded with the classic "well thats what my personal trainer told me and I think they would know better than you"
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a nonlinear, nonsubjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.
