Pretty disappointing loss but I'm happy with a higher draft pick. We need a playmaking WR in the absolute worst way. Thoughts on the game:
Blaine looked good and had some impressive throws again.
MJD is playing the best football of his life.
A Jason Hill sighting!
Inside the 10 yard line needs to become 4 down territory. An offense like ours can't afford to settle for 3 when they're on the doorstep.
Matt Turk should never be allowed inside the stadium again. Not. Ever. Just no.
The defense continues to impress me. Lowery and Coleman can play.
Hang in there guys. The night is darkest just before the dawn...This is and will continue to be an ugly year, but this team has a bright future.I call it "Celebration". It's sexual, and violent...

I can't wait to see what a new coaching staff will do to this team. Hopefully we will be like the Bills/49ers within a year or 2.
Oh, and I wouldn't mind losing a bunch of games this year and drafting Blackmon.
Quick question though. What if the Jags lose enough games and obtain the #1 overall pick? Do we draft Luck, and trade Gabbert?

I too would be fine with losing a ton of games and getting a high pick. I'd LOVE Justin Blackmon but I have a feeling the DUI would turn Gene Smith away. Hopefully not. If we ended up getting the number 1 pick, then the thing to do is evaluate Gabbert's season. If he showed progress and looked more and more like he's gonna be the real thing, then trade the pick and get a KINGS RANSOM in return for it.

greek can verify that I am legit, so I come with an offer - I have 4 club level tix for the Steelers-Jags game that I need to sell asap. If you are seriously interested PM me.
When it comes to the NHL thread I'm the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.
Are you preparing your field for the rain?
