carb cycling approach similar to the anabolic diet

Hey guys, I have recently started carb cycling and found it to be very beneficial. I havent followed it exactly though (high, med, low) and am trying sort of come up with my own way of doing it. I have recently read the Anabolic Diet and am thinking about taking a similar approach to my diet program. I was thinking of consuming 150g. cho mon-fri, which are the days that I lift, and carbing up (clean) on my rest days which are sat & sun. How does this sound? Feedback would be much appreciated!

I have tried both carb cycling (low, med, high days) with less than 100g, 175g and about 275g, works well for getting lean without losing to much muscle.
I have also followed the anabolic diet to the T, for about 2 months, however the lack of carbs during the week left me depleted with no energy by the end of the week, i would have plenty of energy after my carb up weekends but it would disappate fast, not sure if a mix of the two would work as they STRESS in the anabolic diet to have less than 30g of carbs during the week, i think you are better off with a more moderate carb cycling diet instead of consuming over 100g, read up on the anabolic diet forum thread on T-nation, lots of info there, good luck.

why dont you carb up on friday and then go very low carb or no carb on your rest days. that way your not just eating a sh*t load of carbs and then being inactive and not using the carbs. and just repeat the process on monday
