Any alternative to deadlifting without the use of a barbel?
Is it the same when u deadlift with cables?

if you dont like dealifts which is an essential mass building excersise then try good mornings....

deadlift with cables...?
if you don't like using barbells because of calluses then its either tape up the callus(tape or paper towel) or buy some gloves and get lifting
if grip is an issue try mixed grip
if you just don't like deadlifts then **** it, you're not in the gym to feel comfortable or be wrapped up in a cloud. only way you'll achieve is by getting out of your comfort zone

You can do an RDL/SLDL or good morning (I do heavy good mornings) if you don’t want to deadlift. The same muscles will get worked but with less weight, less neural fatigue and you get an eccentric component which will carry over to your actual deadlift. Since I switched to GMs as a primary posterior chain exercise the muscles involved feel like they have gotten a proper workout AND I don’t feel like death the rest of the week.
As some other members above me have said, you can try the hex bar as well. Gonna have to man up and use a bar of some kind though. Back extensions/GHR won’t cut it and you don’t wanna be the guy doing cable pull throughs...
