Background
I got this idea when I was away for 14 days and couldn't lift in the gym and wanted to try something different. and it turned to be more effective than the normal bodyweight method.
Equipment
2 glasses of water
Bodypart worked
Whole body
Target group of people
People on vacation
Main rule
Do no let the water out of the glass
Main goal
Promoting maximum muscle contraction by doing controlled and slow reps by not breaking the main rule
How to do this?
- Find 2 glasses
- Fill them with water
- Do your lifts without breaking the rule
Starting and progressing
Start with small and half-full cups, add more water and/or use larger glasses as you master the method![]()

lol, nice.
doubt how much it can stimulate muscles, but definetly something that can be used for form checking/balance and all that.
will give it a go next time i'm on holidays.
lol wat. just thought of something, , spirit level style bar, lift while keeping it level just like keeping the water in the glass. NEW INFOMERCIAL PRODUCT.la'illaha'illallah muhammadan'rasuulallah

theres a martial arts excercise you can do where you squat and balance the glasses on your knees. For real encouaragement and possibly horrific scarring you can use hot hot water.

I did read an article somewhere about lifting a length of sealed pipe, with water inside it (although not full), and the neds sealed up.
By varying the amount of water, you vary the weight, and the movement of the water in the pipe makes the lift more challenging to the stabilising muscles.because fitness isn't coincidence
