I can't say on about the science behind it, wether it works just as good or not, but my buddy bought all of his supplements from a website where they were all expired. He got them at a discount and he was on a budget but he was definately ripped, gained strength, and had no adverse reactions from what I know.
Just my two centsShut up and lift

The reason many foods with preservatives are even labeled as expired is because the Bottle itself (usually plastic) expired and starts to leak into the product. This however should not have adverse affects if you do not do this often. I am not going to tell you to take expired products nor am I going to tell you not to, thats up to you. But the protein itself is likely not expired, just the bottle.

re:
rockafella922 is so wrong it's not even funny. a container used to house supplements would take at least 200 years to decompose. moreover, the notion that a plastic container will contaminate its contents is a myth - stop getting your "science" from forwarded chain emails.
correction, the protein itself has an expiration date, but all that expiry date reflects is the potency of the protein itself. the product is fine for you to take, however the amount of protein you are getting from the supplement will be less than it says on the container. the longer past the expiration date, the less potent the supplement will be. but it will in no way harm you as long as it was sealed and in a dry place.
