excellent job! you're gunna live 'til you're 1 million!
& that picture is why i love this forum. i get to talk to pple, who've been through the EXACT same thing i have. (none of my friends have. so, i have no one to relate w/ in real life. =/)
i remember going through clothes like crazy during the 1st 3/4ths of my transformation & thinking to myself "how the FCK was this ever skin tight on me?!?!" when it'd get loose.Last edited by trance__dreamer; 03-20-2009 at 02:37 PM.

Its not even funny I have bought so many clothes in the last few months that just dont get worn after a month or two.
I find it a bit happy sad when you look back to think of all the years I was that big and didnt realise,to think my old clothes once fitted embarasses me because I never saw myself as that big and I dont particuarly feel any slimmer now, them jeans being that big is a real shockYou don't drown by falling in the water. I'm sure you are doing this already, but keep using it as motivation to NEVER go back to that and to keep pushing foward! I understand where you are coming from because a year ago today I wore a size 42-44 pant, and today I am wearing size 33 jeans. I still keep my old ones around to remind myself to NEVER go back to my old ways. Its great (and very motivating) to see others on this site making it happen! I would frame those things and put them on the wall.

I've gone through 4 different wardrobes in the last year. A least now i'm getting done to Small sizes,s o at elast i know i can keep this one for a while.
I like to use clothes as a motivation/yardstick - i always have one tshirt or something thats a bit too small for me, and then see how long it takes me to fit into it. It a big deal for me then when i get to start wearing it out in public.

Thanks for the comments guys I knew I had lost a lot of weight but losing that much size round the waist especially shocked me as you go along bit by bit you dont see it or feel it then you put your old stuff on and it just hits you,I mean the 40"s I bought two months ago are almost unwearable but to try them original 58"s back on its insane

Amazing transformation similar to what I would like to accomplish. And you did this in such a short time frame!
Did you keep a log? I'm currently 325 (started at 351 3 weeks ago) and would appreciate any PMs or advice.
Seeing that really keeps me motivated so I can come here in a year and do the same thingFormer 400 lber (ok kind of cheating since I never hit the magical number officially, but close enough).

Wow, thats awesome progress! I looked @ your progress pics on your bodyspace and you've certainly come a long way.
Very motivational stuff keep it up!You don't try to build a wall.
You don't set out to build a wall.
You don't say, "I'm going to build the biggest, baddest, greatest wall that's ever been built!".
You don't start there.
You say, "I'm going to lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid.".
You do that every single day, and soon you'll have a wall.

Thanks man I dont keep a log it would be a bit empty I do the basics and thats about it,I weight train 4x per week(3 day split)and eat in a calorie deficit(usually 2000-2200 cals per day) keeping protein high(200g per day) and filling the calories with anything else.Told you its not much of a log
Its been nearly 10 months now before the year is out I would like to get the waist down to maybe a comfortable 32"-34" at the minute I am in 36s comfortably and 34s just about squeeze onYou don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
