    first 2 weeks on keto

hey guys, i just wanted to share my little story with u guys.

been lifting for about 10 years, with a pretty solid base. back in september i had my first child and kinda went down hill, so i wanted to change

Tomorrow will be day 14 on my diet and here are the results
as of day 12. started at 237 with 17.9% bf, now im 222 at 13.1%bf. I have been doing a combo of the keto/plumbo diet. and its working great for me. today i did my first carb day, and got around 300, i have been able to stay in keto while getting about 50-60 carbs aday, and protien about 275-300, cals are near 3500-3700. i am happy, i havent cheated and i have stuck with it well. also i am clean at same time, my goal is to get down to 10% then see where i am at

    what do u guys think
also here is a sample day diet

    meal 1- 5 eggs 2oz cheese
    meal 2- 60g protien shake 2tblsp PB
meal 3- 8 oz chicken 1/2 cup nuts
    meal 4- 60g protien shake 2tblsp pb
meal 5- 8 oz red meat 2 cups green leafs 2tbls olive oil
meal 6- 60g protien shake 2 tblsp PB

thats prety much it, i had some oils thoughout the day to get the right about of fat and somtimes to take care of my sweet tooth i buy sugar free jello and eat the whole pack, not back for 33 cent and a good treat.

Diet looks good, I eat pretty much the same way and I use good oils to make up fat.

20g of 85% cocoa dark chocolate for my sweet tooth.
Train hard and heavy, nail your diet, get plenty of rest.

Nah you're fine if you stay in Ketosis.

Pretty sure MarkVI stays in Keto on 100g carbs....

heres a quick ? does it take as long to get into keto as it did the first time after being in that stage for awhile. When i started it took about 4 days to get into it, i was in it for 8 days or so, i carbed up yesterday, then started back on the diet today and was wondering will it take 4 days again or what

are you sure you lost so much FAT in 14 days?
the normal thing is that WATER weight will be gone during this period.
    I lost 6kg(11 lbs) in 12 days, but that's mostly water+some fat

no just go 24 hours with zero carbs, and another 24 hours with 5-10g carbs, and you'll be in ketosis next morning

hey that's a good idea. while it didn't take me too long to get back into ketosis (two days), i did have too many carbs the day after my carb up so i'll try this method next time.

Just depends how much glycogen you've replenished and how hard you train. How much weight did you re-gain?

Same person tested at the same places right? If so that's nuts.

    First of all Congrats.

However, not to be a downer but something just doesn't make sense.

You lost a total of 15 lbs. Your bodyfat indicates that you lost 13 lbs of pure fat.

Most of what you lose on the first two weeks is water weight. Hence the drastic changes in weight in such a short time.

So either the guy that tested you did it wrong, you gained muscle (not likely), water does actually affect bodyfat measurements, or you are extremely lucky.

Congrats to you and I hope it's the last option but just thought I'd throw that out there.

And like i said, he didnt beleive it either, so he did it a few more times and then got the owner to come do it. Now the guy is good at what he does, he competes and won the NC states last year, but i guess anyone can be wrong, what should i do then, go someone else t oget checked?
