x2.. i asked advice on my diet one time and got nothing but a bashing.. but its virtually impossible to get all your meals in while living in the dorms.. eggs in the microwave and tuna(just like guy above me) are a way of life... plus i buy those bags of pre-cooked grilled chicken and beef.. but hell im trying to pay for school and those can get really expensive so i have to have 3 shakes a day!

referring to those oatmeal bars.. is there anything wrong with those as compared to just a bowl of oats? the reason i ask is, we have football workouts at 5:00 am and at the beginning of the semester it was real easy to get up in time to eat and chug down a shake before workout but its getting harder and harder plus sometime the microwaves don't work that early in the morning so i was real curious about those bars...

quaker oatmeal 2 go bars i believe theyre called, apple and the cinnimin are my favorite.
theyre very tasty and easy way of getting good slow digesting carbs in the morning, a little bit of sugar but nothing crazy. put back 1 or 2 of those (not sure how big you are) and a protein shake and you should be lovin football practice lol.You ain't fresh Amiziz

Usually just two. One pwo, and one at the office between meals.
On Sundays (no weights, no cardio - total off day), I usually dont have any.
But I also mix a scoop of vanilla whey in my oatmeal every morning, so if you count that as a "skake" then three.I'm the guillotine waiting for the head that wears the crown

0-2 depending on the availability of food. I have a scoop of whey in the morning with my oats...so not exactly a "shake" persay. Occasionally I will mix up a shake PWO if I dont have a homemade protein bar or something like that on me. Sometimes I make a casein shake at night, but not as often as I used to.
Life is too short to be small.

lol what? 40g PWO is more then most people take... and taking 1 in the morning with breakfast is a good way to get fast easy protein after an 8 hour fast... casein shake is good to take before bed... ur not gonna "store, piss or ****" it if it fits your daily protein needs
x2 ... I agreeIt's not the daily increase but daily decrease. Hack away at the unessential - Bruce Lee
