Posting this here because the short term injury thread seemed different considering this is now long term. I used to be a serious bodybuilder and fitness was a HUGE part of my life from the age of 16-18....That was until, I "over-trained" by doing regular/reverse wrist curls (tryna get those McGrath forearms), dips ( I already did them alot in my routine, but then I would superset it with pullups or max out at 70) and legs curls nearly everyday at my old highschool, then additonal regular routine later in the day at around 7. I did this for about a month. I got a bit bigger relatively fast, until I noticed a sore and weak feeling in forearms/wrist/elbow that prevented me from feeling any sort of bicep pump, and a constant weakness in my right leg. Being the idiot I was, I trained through it. Eventually I decided to hit the walk in clinic, where the doctor just tossed me away quickly by saying "Oh just take some Aleve for a week or two and you'll be fine."....So I did, and the pain was still there. I then researched the **** out of what it could be and thought it might be tendinosis, the more severe tendinitis. I then went to 2 sports clinics, with one saying it was golfers elbow, then the other tennis. I then did about 4-5 months of physiotherapy, acupuncture, and heat therapy, massage therapy and small weights for it....and still nothing. And on top of that, in between I waited months for small checkups with my awful family doctor, who could give less than two ****s. It took 9 months for me to get an upper elbow MRI appointment (After an X-Ray came out fine) and when I did, the results came in saying nothing. So now I'm going into college tomorrow, small as ****, and not able to access the fitness centre or have confidence with girls. Also, even ****tier a feeling, I was becoming a weapons technician in the Reserves and a personal trainer at a gym, however I couldn't finish basic training with my arms all ****ed and being at the gym not lifting made me feel worse. I have a cortisone injection appointment in a month, then I see a nerve specialist the month after. It's almost been 2 years since initial paint.
This injury has pretty much ruined my confidence, and path I had set out in life. When I was big I was even a virgin too, and didn't realize I should of been chasing puss. Now I've spent over 3000 on Coke and strippers and think about ending my life everyday in a hail of gunfire ( half srs)
TLDR; Overtrained doing wrist curls and calve raises everyday plus additional workouts everyday for a month, now constant soreness in elbows/wrist/forearm and right leg preventing me achieving a pump and making cardio, jerking, and everything in life feel painful and weak. What could it be or what should I do?
