    Should I workout Shoulders if my Chest is still sore?

    I did Chest and Back on Monday, and they still hurt just a little bit.

    Is it ok if I do Shoulders today, or should I wait until tomorrow?

    My routine is

    Monday
    Chest, Back

    Wednesday
    Shoulders, Legs

    Friday
    Triceps, Biceps

    Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday are Rest Days.

    Is that enough rest, or should I skip 2 days between each workout?

    I am usually only sore the next day, but I went extra heavy on Monday. And I am still just a little sore.

    Also, am I giving my Triceps enough rest?

    Because they are only sore after Friday, and they get to rest Saturday and Sunday.

    But they also get worked a little in chest and shoulder exercises as secondary.

    Am I giving them enough rest?

    I'll be the odd one out on this.

    I say wait and do another body part.

    I know that if I tried to go directly from chest on Monday to shoulders on Tuesday I wouldn't get nearly the workout I normally could.

    I've tried. I usually do 85's/90's on dumbbell military press. I had to go down to 75's.

    I sleep about 8-10 hours a night, and eat a lot of good foods.

    This is me after only a few months of training, I think I am making good progress.

    I started in October 2008, and this picture was taken just a few weeks ago.

    you should be fine, I would have been more concerned if your shoulder were sore for a chest session.

    Maybe low volume is optimal for your body, but for me, I would deffinately not have that many rest days...

    its ok i guess but dont train the fronts just sides and rear because your fronts got destroyed on chest day
