Apple Cinnamon Muffin Waffle - Quality Proteins & Fats

It's a high protein waffle that tastes like an apple cinnamon muffin......nothing more needs to be said.

Since this is just a standard muffin mix, the flavor possibilities are endless!

    The macros are roughly 30P/75C/25F

The eggs supply the protein and fat, while the muffin mix supplies the carbs. Those macros aren't perfectly accurate, but as long as you're in the ballpark of your sought after macro amounts, you're gonna be OK.

    Thanks for the reply. Repped.

Plenty of my videos are 1-2 minutes long, FYI. More of my videos are short, but I do like to do a little longer video every once in awhile. Thanks for the feedback btw, much appreciated.

Nice video brother. Cutting right now, so I'm gonna substitute egg beaters for half the eggs, and substitute a serving of protein waffle mix for a serving of the muffin mix.

I know what you're asking, but the batter in the video consists of 5 whole eggs and 90g of Duncan Hines Apple Cinnamon muffin mix. That's it!

That'll definitely help you get a similar volume of food with a lesser amount of calories. Using egg whites versus whole eggs is an excellent way to get a ton of volume without the calorie dense yolks. I'm not sure if the change to high protein waffle mix will change calories much relative to the Duncan Hines, but I'm sure it'll drop a little.

My best bet would be to get some whole wheat flour, apple pie spice, and cinnamon. Use as much flour as you need for your carb calories and then add the spices for flavoring. If I had to go about it from scratch, that's exactly what I'd do!!

your vids are too long and not that original - they are basic recipes easily found online that are shorter, and the recipes you have produce macros not ideal for those focused on bodybuilding.
The bodybuilding community would like indulgent treat recipes to be high protein and low fat or low carb.
Worst yet you use premix packs rather from scratch. I hope you take this as constructive criticism.

For instance instead of using pre made brownie mix and adding eggs to them- you can make brownies using black beans, stevia for better macros etc

A larger portion of my videos are 1-2 minutes long. Please enlighten me on these macros that are 'ideal for those focused on bodybuilding.

No, they wouldn't. Carbs and fats are all part of a balanced nutrition approach. If you actually expect to gain size eating a diet centered around high protein and low carb and fat intake, you will be disappointed. Saying that a bodybuilder isn't looking for carbs and fats is ridiculous.

There is always an alternative to any recipe someone puts up. Thanks for the suggestion, but I'll stick to the muffin mixes and save the black beans for my mexican dishes. Enjoy your bean brownies!

not everyone is bulking, there is cutting too, so you can enjoy treats while cutting with out worrying about going over macros....

i have made cheese cakes, muffins, etc of macros being 40g pro, 20g carb, 10g fat

typically premix stuff contains undesired added chemicals.

    blackbean brownies: http://purecake.wordpress.com/2011/0...bean-brownies/

as for me, i like to be 'cut' year round, and have no reason to bulk.

I fully understand that. Regardless of your dieting phase, high protein/low carb/low fat is not what most of us are after. As an example, if you're cutting on 2500 calories, and you are consuming 200g of protein, you've still got 1700 calories to worry about in the form of carbs and fats. You aren't going to get around those calories, and they'll have to come from carbs and fats. So whether bulking or cutting (with a reasonable approach and a non-excessive amount of protein) carbs and fats are going to be highly present.

i have made cheese cakes, muffins, etc of macros being 40g pro, 20g carb, 10g fat
That is a mere 330 calories in total, which isn't even enough for the average guy's cutting meal. More carbs and fats would be ideal for most people, seriously.

typically premix stuff contains undesired added chemicals.

Here is the OP's video explaining how to make a whey protein shake and a peanut butter sandwich. It's takes him only ~8 minutes to explain how to make this highly complex and unique meal.

    2) spread into 6 meals which some people like, it will add up.

    3) I am happy with my body. I would be happy with a better power to weight ratio (cardio and lifting) for application in the real world

Apparently arguing with you is wasted time. Bottom line, people eat high carb and fat meals and the macros for this recipe are just fine.
