Haha. Don't even worry about it. The kid (Disenfranchised) who tried to talk nutrition apparently fails at life and got banned. I mean he deserved it, something made with just potatoes, oil, and salt isn't unhealthy for anyone provided (chips) are eaten in moderation because they're so caloric dense.

I've heard that Potatoe chips are Carcinegenic.
Meaning,they have Carcinigens.
I stray away from the standard cheapies made by Lays,Wise, and Herr's.
I Have Sun Chips. They're by Frito Lay.They're Multi-Grain and you can tell that they're not Carcinegenic.*Addicted to swimming during the summer crew.*

You're thinking of acrylamide, a known carcinogen that occurs when starchy foods are fried or baked. I posted articles about acrylamide earlier in this thread but it was completely ignored which is funny because acrylamide in potato chips is the only way they might possibly be harmful (besides being very high in fat).

1) it would be a large tangent.
2) i don't believe many people have enough knowledge or information to debate cancer properly.
3) it's big enough to have its own thread.
if you would like to create one to it, i will be among the first to read information and think critically about it. with whatever limited information i have/will obtain.

you made a blanket statement that 'chips are bad.' since then the debate had included chips made from potatoes and healthy oils and some salt. multiple brands had been listed. they included no other ingredients. in order to say 'chips are bad,' you would need to explain why potatoes cooked in oil are bad.
so far only one poster (elfie) has even attempted that.
no, no, you came in and said 'chips are bad because they are chips.'
i normally don't neg people but i'm getting really tired of retarded food dogma. you want to explain how a serving of this along with the dudes sandwich is somehow bad?
go ahead, but, 'because they are chips' is a massive fail.

because he shouldnt be having the sandwich either if he's trying to be a bodybuilder, im sure someone said they have chips in a sandwich earlier on which is soooo wrong, funny though if thats what they are eating, may aswell spread some chocolate spread on too, i mean as long as its got healthy fats in it
if youre not screaming youre not trying

Because i am familiar with bodybuilders diets, and have yet to see chips in one. If you want to see an example of how extreme a bodybuilders cutting diet is (unless a genetic freak) than have a look at this thread: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...t=dave+palumbo

and i could show you video after video of ronnie (the king himself) eating half a bottle of KC masterpiece, cornbread and pink lemonade.
this isn't proof of anything.
i don't think the OP (or anyone else) was talking about the end stages of a contest cut.
again, why are potatoes cooked in healthy oil bad.
stop dodging it.
