Because yes its impressive to see smaller guys get 3-5x their bodyweight in a lift but people on this site tend to blow it out of proportion, say a 148 guy benched 300, squats 450, and deads 500. That's impressive as hell for sure, but then you get guys sayiong he is "stronger" then a SHW who benches 550, squats 600 and deads 700 because OMG lb for lb hes doubling and tripling his bodyweight and you aren't!!! The 148 is very strong yes, but lb for lb does not mean you are stronger, it means you are strong at your weight class while the bigger guys who put up twice what you do are stronger overall.

I highly doubt 305 is the bench press record for that weight division. Im close to that weight and benched 300 lbs 1 rep 2 years ago(at that time i repped 225x10).
