Great workout Bob.
Video update looks pretty good. Just a few things - your waistline looks a tad trimmer. Your side tricep shot looks great + improved since the last update. Front delts also look more round on your front dbl bicep in the new video.
Keep it up man!If you want it bad enough, you'll find a way.

you are noticeably leaner...you've also continued to get stronger...how much longer are you planning on sticking with this cut? you might want to think about just doing a long, long, long, slow bulk...ultimately it's up to you and your goals, but for me, i think you would definitely benefit from a straight slow bulk for a year or so. i just think a long bulk would probably benefit you more than mini cuts here and there. this is in no way trying to negate what you are doing currently...just a different perspective

So far its good, helping me keep/gain strength while on a cut. Could not ask for more
Yes! This is something i was hoping would show, and it is! I have changed my pressing movement and starting to really focus on banging out those reps and getting my chest engaged, I am eager to see what happens over the next few months with its development.
Posing has always been a problem, the stage is a ways away for both of us Nick, dont worry come 2011, well have that on lock. Keep doing the damn thing.
Stomach has always been an issue mate, no big deal, all it is is more motivation to work harder to try and get rid of it.
Ah.. a bowl of this a night doesn't kill anyone does it?
Secret's out!
I respect your time and thoughts jerm, I am really going to think this over. Thank you so much.
Marc Lobliner showed me a completely new way to do rows, and I can feel such a better squeeze on every rep. I think that was a major turning point to helping to get them to flare, that and sticking to the basics FTMFW!Last edited by LayzieBone085; 10-19-2009 at 06:48 PM.

Hmmm not sure what is in that bowl, but sure it's some kind of ice cream, which is never a bad thing.
Like the other's Bob I noticed some more leanness in your follow up vid. You're pretty low bf% it appears, I know you're concerned about some loose and stretched skin, but you're still quite young and w/more bulks it will get tighter as you continue to progress towards your goal of stepping on stage.
Still think a bit longer bulking cycle would help you, also upping direct protein source intake. When I was high protein & lower carb, even though a lot of my measureables were the same, I had more definition. Remember 1 gram of protein retains 1 gram of water weight, while 1 gram of carb retains 4 grams of water weight. Iirc you're on a "higher" carb diet, even whilst cutting. Maybe consider it IF you're unpleased w/current results.Fitness Journal:

I would agree with what everyone is saying for the most part, Bob. Even though you plan not to compete until '11, I would still work a little bit on the posing, as it is a way of seeing your true progression. And your insane for doing HITT after legs. I am usually wobbling out of the gym on leg days and can barely make it to my car, let alone bust out some sprints.

Well sometmes you gotta do what you gotta do. I have had to bust out 22 intervals day of an insane/heavy leg session or sometimes the day or 2 afterwards when my legs were sore as PISS, try that while busting balls with busting out intervals faster than ever. Determination will need to burn through your eyes to smoke stuff like this out, determ frigen nation!
