How should I warm up for this deadlift work set?

I'm going all out tonight. I want to get at least 415x5, and then I'm going to try to grind out 2 more.

So I need to conserve as much energy as possible, but still good a sufficiently good warm up.

What I was planning to do is this:

    135x5
    225x5
    295x5
    345x2
    385x1

Does that work or is there better?

i've applied the max ot warmup concepts to squats and bench with much success. the idea is 3 warmup sets followed by 2 weight acclimation sets as follows:
    50% of ultimate weight x 10
    50% x 8
    67% x 6
    82% x 3
    93% x 1

i am told that this has been proven effective, but what do i know other than that it's worked for me with much success. i do admit to not doing the second 50% set sometimes.

    good luck!

That 82%x3 sounds brutal. I can definately say I would never do 585-600(my 82%)x3 if I was working to a max. i would do it for 1 though.

i became dumber after reading though this thread.. thanks

I was actually going to post something use full but decided it would just go on deaths ears so i will just say that 4 sets prior to a max attempt is not a proper warm up. Theres more to a proper warm up then 1 plate 2 plate 3 plate..

Anaar PM me if you would like some help

to be fair, I know the link he was going to post as I was going to do the same, but the OP's warm-up of choice worked for him so it doesn't matter now.it is a great read, but I know TAK sorta sounded like a dick saying his misusage of some saying.
