That's an impressive collection of collars. When we discussed those brand new in the box wedgelock collars, I thought you were getting them for me to help a brotha out but I realized otherwise when you started posting photos of them. LOL I'd really like to find a set of those collars in the bronze color finish but the factory that made the castings for Ivanko is no longer around. Ivan did say they had some parts for the collars and he would like to start making them again. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I love my bronze set. I want those COXCs you have sitting there along w/ the COTb's

Btw, which do you like better, the COC2.5kg or the COCX? Just curious.

Anyone try out the Husker Power Lock collars? I've heard they work well for Oly lifts. I mainly do the power lifts, but do regularly have cleans in my routine. Also, like to have a tighter fit for heavy dead lifts as well.

No worries. These appear to be painted. The t-bar handles also appear to have factory rubber/neoprene coating.

I believe Lockjaw's will work on Dean's bars. You can pick up knock-off's for $17 shipped, just have to wait out the slow boat from China:

    http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hlight=lockjaw

They also have the knockoff muscle clamps for $14 shipped, I have a set on the way to me.

I currently use Lockjaw Pros, and while I only currently have standard oly bars and a Troy curl bar, they work fine.

If I were going to own one pair of collars, there would be no decision. I would buy ivanko pressure ring training collars.

    http://www.wwfitness.com/ivanko-1.html

Either the 1.5 or 2.5 lbers would be fine.

They're not cheap; but they are quick/easy to use, strong, work on all your bars, and second to none in holding ability. They also say "ivanko" on them, which is pretty cool.

This ^^ all day long. I think the price has gone up considerably from what Keetman has linked above, they are now something like $60 per pair, but they are worth every penny. They are bombproof. I use my COT 1.25's as 1.25 lb micro weights as well.

They fit all of my bars, including a Rogue Swiss Bar, EliteFTS Safety Squat Bar, and York Multi-Hex Bar.

I think they are brand new. Tonight's e-mail was the first I've heard of them and I've been on EFS' collar section relatively recently. Croc Lock has 2 likes on FB and posted a photo for the first time on Dec 1, 2014.

    The hype description is hilarious:

This collar is going to change the game. [snip] We wish someone would've thought of this sooner. Hell, we wish we would've thought of it sooner.

    Why?

This thing works. It's built like a tank. It has a million uses...and this is all just the start.
A million uses? So holding plates onto a bar...and what others?

There's not much info on the website except that they're made out of anodized aluminum. I think that's a good choice of materials. I'm not sure about the shape. There appear to be very thin areas and the gear shape seems to be only for appearance. Maybe it was necessary to make it so thin so that it could bend closed more easily. Aside from the gear shape and rubber insert, the design is very similar to industrial quick clamping shaft collars.

I bet the thin areas allow it to bend more and create more surface contact with the bar.

Probably right. The thick industrial 50mm single split shaft collars don't bend much. They also take some effort to close. I like the double split collars a bit better since they seem to clamp more evenly and they're easier to adjust.

They don't appear to be adjustable so they may only fit a narrow range of sleeve diameters. The rubber insert probably helps a little. Maybe the extra bending helps too. Just guesses.

Hopefully the buyer will give some feedback.

The OSO clamps are made by a few guys nearby that we used to partner with. Brilliant design. The gear shape is intentional/functional. Been using them myself for the past few months and they are superior to anything else I've ever tried. Local CrossFit gyms have been buying them up quick. Plates do not move at all when Oly lifting.

If you guys are looking for overseas distributors, it'd be a good match for this company in NZ: http://www.industrialathletic.com/ The collar almost looks like their logo.

My lockjaw elites work really well on the ribbed sleeves of my Rogue bars - Ohio Power Bar and Matt Chan Bar. They work decently on my Rogue SSB, kinda crappily on my EliteFTS Swiss Bar and terribly on my Black Widow Row Handle. The latter two are pipe and need the 1.9" speciality collar that Rogue sells.
