Having your spotter not deadlift the weight off of you is probably the first thing you should do.

not trying to be a dick, cause you got good power for sure(props)... but after watching your warmup with 315 you get 10 or 11 reps with maybe 2 more left in you... that would make me assume your bench is around 425ish maybe... its a far cry from 585..... *edit* you only got nine, my guess is 415 would be a tough push for you..

I'm going to say that don't look real especially the way the weights on the bar moved around after you set it back on the rack looked totally fake.

But if that was real then!

585 is much more then I can do but I am still going to speak out.

Now I'm saying this becuase of the view and it looks like your ass lifting.

So don't go higher until you can keep your ass on the bench for the lift and 2 arc before you lift not after as it looked like you arced after because of a straining low back from ass lifting.

Also stop bouncing the weight off your chest.

Dude your very strong if that's 585 but I would drop the weight down a tad and work on your forum and then you'll lift more with proper forum.

you are certainly stronger than i ever could hope to be, but i feel obligated to tell you if you were to compete, that lift would not have been passed by any judge

keep training the way you are training if it has gotten you this far, but you are def going to have to change your form and lower the weight for a competition (no bouncing, ass on bench, etc)

conventionally straps are used for pulling movements only, so its just unusual to see that, but to each his own, just know that it would not be allowed in a competition

Gets some wrist wraps to keep your wrist tight.

APT has some good ones... 24" wrist wraps might be a good fit for you... maybe even 36".

chalk will always make your grip better.

when you're benching you should be gripping the bar as tight as possible.

the belt is to hold down your shirt for the most part. provides a little bit of support to your lower back when you arch/leg drive.

    I don't believe I'll buy this.

Although if it is real, I'm cracking up at the straps and the fact that according to your bodyspace, you bench over a hundred pounds more than you deadlift.

So let me get this straight, you can't string a freakin sentence together, you use straps, STRAPS NOT WRAPS freaking straps on bench, you have no idea what the WR raw bench is, and you are trying to tell us you just benched 585? Im waiting for you to spell bicep with a T.

If youre legit, compete in a meet.

    good bench.. wait wat?

Agreed with cmoney, if u can just get 9 reps @ 315 I can't see how you could get 585. Or even close. I could see 405 - 425 maybe

I use chalk when I bench all the time. Well at least anything over 3 plates.
