Does anyone have any (bad) experience on flying with lots of pills and packets and getting stuck at the xray machines?
I fly about 6-8 times a month around Europe and up till now I have not taken any creatine tablets or anything apart from some MR sachets..
I only take on a carry-on suitcase, but I would like to start taking creatine regularly, however I dont want to get stopped as a potential drug mule on each trip while they try and identify what the pills are....
Anyway, I am going to give it a try,
Cheers

Not a problem at all, and I don't think anyone flies more than me. Even though I work for an airline, I'm still subject to the same search. I carry lots of pills, powder, food....some could even look a little questionable because of the little zip lock bags but I have never had a problem even with customs.

The only time I ever got stopped at an airport was in Detroit about fifteen years ago. I'd just come back from Japan, transferring in Detroit to fly back to Toronto, and I had caught a cold. In Japan, they give you a nasty tasting white powder for the cold, a capsule for the cough, another for fever, a kind of expectorant, and so on. In all, I had to take about six different kinds of pills and powders.
Anyway, a security guard with his dog saw me trudging along, and the dog suddenly gave a huge "WOOF!" Just sat there, wagging its tail, so the guard asked me, runny nose and all, to open up my bag. He picked up the packet of cold medicine and asked me what it was.
"Just cold medicine, sir," I answered politely.
"Uh huh."
Didn't help that I looked like I'd come off a high--I must've looked like a crackhead to him, but he let me go anyway. Sick as I was, I thought it was pretty funny at the time."Don't call me Miss Kitty. Just...don't."--Catnip. Check out the Catnip Trilogy on Amazon.com

I always carry my supps when I travel to Cancun every year. All pills just thrown together in a ziplock bag and my creatine powder in a small bottle marked as creatine. The pills are usually Fish oils, Arginine capsules, vitamin B-12, Aleve and a multi.
I've never known of any problems. If they are examining my stuff, they have never discussed it with me."Don't wish it were easier, wish you were better!"

Just saw this thread while scrolling down the main board.....
Anyway, I travel back and forth to the Middle East a lot, and take several different routes that take me through Denver, D.C., Chicago, France, London, Bahrain, and Qatar, as well as Houston occasionally, and never once have I been stopped for having pills (usually vitamins in gel capsules but not in the packaging they were bought in).
There's a direct flight from Qatar to D.C., and before you board that flight they empty out any bag you are carrying on (as well as extra security for checked baggage). Last time I took that flight, in early December, they dumped out my bag and a bunch of loose pills went everywhere -- the guy just picked them up and handed them to me without saying anything. Keep in mind these were unmarked gel capsules full of brown powder (could be mistaken for speed), and even in a country where drug crimes are taken very seriously, nothing was said.
Hope that helps

I travel quite a bit and have never had a problem. I take 2 weekly pill/supp organizers with me that are rather large and I go through security just fine.

I will choose freewill

I wondered about the creatine in the zip-lock baggy thing. I have taken regular supplements, pills through the airport with no problem, but was hesitant about creatine, or other white fine powders!! I fly through west Texas all the time, and it ain't DFW, its Lubbock international that always gives me fits. Barney Fife wants to check everything all the time.
