545 Max Bench Press Workout ( BIG PR ) in an Inzer Rage X on 1-5-09!

Praise GOD! This was a great lift!

In 2009 it looks as though all of '08s hard work may really payoff!

This was an awesome workout wearing a size 50 Inzer Rage X shirt.
The 545 was a strong lift and really pushes into another level of bench pressing!

I am really looking forward to my next meet (09 NASA Upper Midwest in February) so I can make it official.

I posted in the PR thread because it was a PR!

I posted here for discussion on improving the lift and because I honestly don't read the PR thread very often but I check the forum more regulary.

I thought that would be pretty obvious, but regardless those were my reasons.

Depends on a shirt and how you use it... Could be 50, could be 100.

are you saying 150 or like 250?

and i'm guessing someone who benches 500 raw would get more out of a suit then someone benching 350?

one of the guys on my team maxes at 355, he recently hit 545 off a one board.

there's a kid at super training who benches less than 405 raw and he recently hit a 705lb bench.

it is fun when you nail a bench with it. not fun when all circulation is cut off shortly thereafter and it takes 10 mins to get off (yes my bench shirt)

Yeah, if you put in a good few years of training shirted you can get that kind of help from your bench shirts. Imagine how much you'd get out of it if you'd done 15 years of bench-only meets training in a shirt? Oh, wait...

So RyHam who are you referring to because unless I miss counted there are many NASA competitors on bb.com forums.
Several lifters post on the powerlifting section.
I do compete in NASA but I also in USA Powerlifting.

I missed the part about where you compete??
